Bro in my point of view a beginner having a protein skimmer is good because they now recently entered to Hobby it helps maintaince .
Agreed bro !! It is often a balance between budget and maintenance regiment. If they can afford a skimmer, it is well and good 👍🏾

@@ahemandkumaar3005 You are right 👍🏾 Long term we should target a skimmer but for a decent sized tank, with very less bio load can run without a skimmer for a good timeperiod

Not sure about it bro, generally i wont try. And Iodine alone is not the problem in common salt. There are many other trace elements which needs to be removed.

Depends on several factors brother,, Your tank size + Stocking.. and your feedings.. Easy way to identify is, to use a Nitrate test kit and do waterchange whenever it exceeds tolerable limit ( varies with Each Fish/inverts ). Few months la you will know how often you need to do wc ..

@@JeysFishTanks - want to know how to make a sump filter . A good Cannister filter for a 3 feet tank plus good filter media comes close to around 6k . A sump I think by 3 k can be built ; correct me if I am wrong

@@JeysFishTanks i agree with you but still getting started with proper equipment is good to go and you told about lights and wavemaker the costly starts from 15 thousand onwards and cheap and best starts from 7 to 10 thousand its purely on my experience basis from past 12 years in chennai

For those who cant, they can still Experience the hobby with what comes at their budget. This we can say a kickstart for their wish, Later as they experience, they should upgrade slowly.
