Bulgaria. Sunny beach to Nessebar, so close, so different?

- Heatwave in Bulgaria, so we head to Old Nessebar for an evening walk around and cooler breezes, Susan finds some shops of course! From the resort of Sunny Beach, manic with entertainment, bars and restaurants we head to the culture center of Old Nessebar, a short distance away but full of historic buildings, quant alleyways and amazing sea view restaurants. A world heritage site there is so much to see walking around here and it makes a big change to the resort and its packed beaches! The Black Sea is beautiful during the summer with it's azure blue waters.
No Sunny Beach holiday is complete without a visit to the historic Old Town of Nessebar, whether by boat, train or bus.
If you have a car there is ample parking available.

A really lovely video. Nessibar has some beautiful looking restaurants overlooking the sea. So relaxing. We did the VIP Catermeran Cruise yesterday morning, which we really enjoyed. Tomorrow the South Tour to Sozipol. The weather here has been amazing. Very impressed how you manage to film and still look cool in this heat. Must be the cold beer! 😂
We don't go out till later on, it's above average at the moment

I loved to wander around those narrow alleys in Nesebar 😍. Also in Sozopol. Both very unique seaside historical towns.
Great to keep a bit of history in place. Its such a contrast to the resorts along the coast.
Dobar den and people say it was always hot, but those temperatures are NOT really normal. Susan loving her shopping, what a surprise! 😂 Is this news? Nope! 😄 The views are indeed super and the sunset. Chao chao and have a good weekend!👋

I went to obzur beach resort which was very quiet 3 June -17 nothing much was open as season wasn’t starting till weekend we left ..but beach weather was lovely not to hot , don’t think I could cope with the temps you are having .. went to nessibar for day trip and thought it was lovely and plenty of lovely shops ,don’t think sunny beach is our cup of tea , are there quiet hotels for 70s and. At which end of resort ..would like to go back as there’s so much to do at sunny even if you go in June ,,the restaurant you shown is were we had a lovely lunch and view. Spaghetti Bol was to die for …before we went to Bulgaria We watched ur videos and it gave us much info …loved Varna thank you x
The season starts on flower street and spread out. We have our apartment in the center making the most of the short season.
I recommend the bus trip from Sunny Beach to Varna. Really amazing views along the way, and the price isn't too bad either! Even if you don't want to walk in Varna, just travel the bus there and back.
We have stayed in Varna but it is 2 hours on the bus. We drive the road off season.

Great video! We’re in Sunny Beach currently, on Wednesday was the best atmosphere I’ve ever experienced in a bar with the football. Be great content if you could capture the scenes on Flower Street on Sunday evening for the final.

Familia Fish and Grill in Nessebar had incredible food and service and was very reasonably priced for what it offered. Highly recommended

Hi pal, great work just a quick question we have just booked for end September this year. I was just wondering if all bars & restaurants will still be open?
They start to close last week, by the start of October it's basically flower street. Last September was busy till the very end though.
Looks Beautiful , just one question, what time do buses or ferries stop in the evening, Don,t want to swim or walk back to Sunny Beach. Just noticed a old double decker bus (RED) what is that for ?
Very late midnight now but you have to check as it changes through the season. The trains stop at 11pm now. Not sure on boats but not so late.

The double decker is a sightseeing bus, you get a better view from up top.

It was in a couple of videos back. Big refit last year so looks good and close to everything but quieter at night.
Hey guys, me and my brother are going to sunny beach on the 7th of September. So far all I've been told is that the place is completely dead by then with most places being shut. Can you please shed some light on this ? We're not much into the party side of things (I'm 29 brother is 33 ) but would mind going to a nice club 😊
It's mainly all open till the last week. Go back look at our library, we made several videos last September weather was great and plenty happening in the evenings you won't find the Facebook groups very helpful these days, just people enjoying making others feel bad.

Can you get a bus from your hotel or is there a, designated place in Sunny Beach where you have to get the bus as I'm staying at the North end thankyou
There are many bus stops on the main road that runs sunny beach to Nessebar.
We spoke last week about filming in sunny beach, I was wondering if you would be up for sharing your drone footage of flower screen for a small scene in our little film, Its not for profit but happy to credit in the final, happy to discuss over Facebook message :)
