- The original video for this was the 2nd video I posted on CZcams when i started this channel in 2009.
Koolaid is almost 4 yrs old (may 5th). He is a very Very vocal, loud and energetic parrotlet and is King in my home and is a handful.
From comments I've received over the years, he has taught many other Parrotlets to speak! What a great teacher he is.
He says "let's open the door" right before I do the first set.

Awww! After watching your first video, I taught my parrotlet Zerby how to play this game. :) Just like Koolaid, Zerby LOVES saying "three". He'll never say "one" or "two"!

After reading of Koolaid’s passing, I had to go look through all of his funny videos. It helped lift my spirits. He was such a funny, smart parrot. 💕💕💕

Koolaid is just a very vocal bird...perhaps very talented but very vocal & loud. He said his first word at 8 weeks actually. he said "kiss kiss" while chasing after a budgie lol.

LOVE these little guys. Glad I found out that giving them only pellets was making him ill. Changed to fruit and veg and a little seeds--he bounced back!!
Koolaid is really fantastic! I love him so much! In a few weeks I also will get 2 of this parrots, so that I will be the richest person of love in my life!

I love Koolaid! He has a great vocabulary! I have a green parrotlet that talks and I love him. His name is Taco, and that was his name when I got him (he was about a year old already). I understand about half of what he is saying to me. He will talk up a storm, especially if he thinks I haven't paid enough attention to him yet that day! Thanks for sharing Koolaid with us!

This reminds me of my little cousin. When he was 3 he had a bunch on matchbox cars and he would always count them... His counting was: 1,2,2,2,2,2 and so on until he finished.
Never having even KNOWN a pet bird, I am fascinated by their speech. Especially how Koolaid taught your new birds to talk! Were YOU amazed too?

My parakeet Sunny was so young when I got him we have had to watch parakeet vidios so he can learn "normel" keet behaivior. It has really helped! Now he is an active littel birdy. We where getting bord untill we found kool aid and your crue. Now we love to watch him and all your guys! Please keep it up. I espely love when he goes "3!!?" ! I know paratlet are a diffen bread but the same size as keets.
His wings lift when he says peekaboo. So cute.

Awww! It was because of Kool-Aid's original peekaboo video that I taught my parrotlet how to play. He's SO good at it now and he's been doing it for at least a year. He's progressed to the point that I can cover him with my hand instead of a tissue and he'll still say "peekaboo" when I lift it. :)

no he wasn't scared because he was very handtame when i brought him home at 7 weeks. so he was handfed, handraised until I brought him home & he fit it very nicely to his surroundings :)
Squeee!!!! I love Kool-Aid! He's the reason we got a parrotlet at christmas for our son. The first thing we taught our bird to say was Peekaboo. Thanks to watching kool-aid's videos regularly and our hand-raising him he's only 4.5 months old and already says at least half a dozen things (not quite as clearly as Kool-Aid but you an definitely make them out). I LOVE this video. I think Kool-aid should share his 3 with our Jack-a-bird who says Peekaboo after #2 :)

Aww I like the slow peekaboo..lol he's cute too. I love all of your birdies..I taught I was in love with Bowie, lol..but Hazel and the rest are all cute. I love watching your videos. When I see that little red 'new' sign next to a bird video on my subcriptions I just lite up and click on it. Loove them!

yay congratulations! how exciting :) I would keep your birdie out of the cage after she gets used to her cage - on a playgym to train her, it also gets her used to being outside & socialized better. Playgyms are a more neutral area & they tend not to get as aggressive/territorial inside/by their cage. Have treats like millet for her to keep her comfortable the first week. She may not eat or drink right away, but conures are hungry & thirsy birds. They are quite social. have fun!

I will always remember Koolaid. I started watching him b4 I had my own birds. I presently have 2 budgies and a green cheek conure. Do you think a parrolet and a green cheek cheek conure can get along?
It is possible , but conures are known to be bullies

no more babies! I fed the babies handfed formula & weaned them onto roudybush pellets, abbaseed & sprouted seeds too. also fresh food:)

I play Kooliad Video's to my Pacific Parrotlet Elliott on my smart phone! He loves listen to him & touches my screen with his beak! Yes Koolaid's number one Parrotlet fan, is Elliott!! Elliott is about 13 weeks old now & he does say pretty boy! Lol Whether he picks up like Koolaid, I would love it, but I will adore him anyway, but I love watching Koolaid's videos myself - he's lovely!
