What would you recommend for a first kit
depends on your budget and if you want an electronic set.. Pearl Export is a great starter set, as for electronic yamaha dtxpress, alesis dm 6, simmons sdk7

Kind of frustrating...trying to lear it on an edrum, but the sensor is not always detecting the flam...any advice anybody ?
That can be very frustrating for sure! ... My advice is contact the manufacturer and see if there's a way to adjust the sensitivity on the pad. If not, perhaps you could buy a more sensitive pad like roland?

That is absolutely not a dumb question, it’s a good one!
It does repeat, but there are different parts to it as well. On CZcams I show parts of the song, but I have full songs available on my site. I also do a live once a month where subscribers can ask me to show them anything they want, that would fun for you to join!

I only have a ukelele and I sit here and learn drums on the floor 😂😂 I should of gotten a smaller drum set
You should rather play hands crossed because new drummers will mix them up and think that's right (just cuz most of the population is right handed)

Hey Garrett!!! This is a different set than the one you're thinking of, but yes it sure does bring back memories!! Great to hear from you bud!!
This intro is really bugging me. With the drum hits counted on 1&3, this method requires a one-off measure of 3/4 time signature. I suspect instead it's more 'proper' to count the intro with the drum hits on 2&4 so there is consistent 4/4 timing. This results in making the guitar riff highly syncopated, which hurts the head to count, but I think that's how Crue does it when they play it live.
