I'd take Josh Kiddey at this point, I actually originally wanted him if we didn't draft Barnes or Mobley. He has major upside potential and great passing ability. His shot has gotten better and better every season.
This would be an ideal trade for the Raptors. He doesn’t really fit any Raptor needs, but he’s 21 years old with a lot of potential.

A couple years ago, I would say yes because we needed a pass first true PG. Now, we have IQ as a starting PG so I don't think we'd need Giddey now. He could come off the bench because we need a backup PG, but I think that may be under utilizing him. Also, we would need to pay him a lot and sign him on a multi year contract
Lets not pretend that Giddey wasnt the 3rd/4th favorite for ROY in his first yr

Not too sure on this one. You move Jakob, who’s Toronto’s centre? I think this really only works if Toronto can sign Edey or Claxton. I like the idea of trying to work Bruce “playoff experience” Brown into the deal somehow.
Play Giddey at the 2 and drop GTJ. Under Darko’s system he could be a great asset

He could be our 6th man and run the 2nd unit or we could have IQ play the 2019-2021 Vanvleet role and play off ball. I also think the city would embrace a guy like him and we don’t get as much media coverage as a team, which would take a little pressure off of him. If he can keep getting better with his shot and improve on the defensive end he could be a great role player. I don’t think I see him becoming and all star at any point but he can certainly become a high end starter or a consistent 6MOTY candidate

I bought a josh giddey jersey last summer but im a raptor fan.
Giddey will be in the package when the Thunder trade for Lauri Markenen this offseason. Giddey and a shit load of draft picks. Makes too much sense for both teams.

So within Thunder media/rumors etc. we have been hearing a lot of trading for a power forward. A Lauri, Deni and KD are the big oooo’s at the minute. There is some talk of getting a centre in free agency but we aren’t even thinking of drafting a centre despite these mocks all sending Kyle Filipowski our way, so, the likely hold of us going after Jakob Poetl is really unlikely.
From our end I see us trading for KD. Signing a Precious Achiuwa like big in free agency to play behind Chet and JWill on a cheap deal and drafting Cody Williams/Jared McCain

Can’t trade Jakob without having a viable center in place. Giddey isn’t a game changer to make that move just because he’s younger. We need game changers.

I wouldn’t trade for Giddy after the allegations. It’s clearly affecting him and it’s gonna bleed off into the team especially after Jontay Porter situation. We don’t need anymore drama.

Trading Jak would open up a hole at the center position. Raptors need to be doubling down on centers not trading away our starter for some non-shooter who scores more off the court with teenage girls than he does on the court.
