I like that Dr Dre can give OTHERS the spotlight stand back with pride that he discovered them let them speak
Dame madison I like you 😁
The greatest producer. Guy said he is OCD. No the brother is brilliant. Perfection 100%
Never been a more onest statment made
He's one of the greatest producers. D.J. Premier is the greatest hip hop producer ever. I'll debate that with anybody.
D.O.C❤
@@donellbadgett5221 Premiere is definitely dope! But being “the BEST” that’s debatable
@@clubbinmag3 Are you going by hits or impact on the culture? I'm into the boom-bap original hip-hop sound. I'm east coast bias. I'm sorry.
Dr. Dre is a legend.
I have respect for this man most people will never understand especially in this day how hard it was to create beats & using samples back then we had simple equipment I had an SP1200 and 2 turntables that was the best we could get our hands on.
I started w/ a dr boss drum machine and dual tape deck
try to make a commercial beat with a QY10 and come back to me.
If you have admiration for him, why don't you look him up and kiss up to him. As a Human Being he SUCKs! The way he treated his kids is fu#$$%6ed up! People don't have that respect no more. bro the truth is out.
I started out hand playing it all without loops from beats basslines Leads etc just layered things but would play each segment and played all the way through the track to the end of the track as what I was using didn't have a loop on it so it was a lot of messing about especially try to keep it in time for 4 to 5-minutes without messing up
dre is worth way more then 700 mill these days. he was raps first billionaire. dre is the greatest producer the industry has ever seen
Dre changed the game. One of the important if not the most important figure in hip hop!
The GOAT of producers no questions
DJ Premiere, RZA, Dre. That order.
At 50min people complaining about Dre being a perfectionist.. He's DR DRE because he's a perfectionist!
It's idiotic to be honest. A perfect example of what is wrong with the media.
@@joeman8523 me too ?

Compton was a masterpiece. We need more Dre!
Dr.Dre is the one who really pushed G funk to another level one of the best producers in hip hop period hand's down n to get a beat from him will cost ya $$$$$$$
Dj Quik needs a documentary like this.
+97MA Righteous Shadows[Seigi no kage] I do
+97MA Righteous Shadows[Seigi no kage] I'm 27 ...I just like good music
+97MA Seigi No Kage School[Righteous Shadows Dojo] Bro, you must not be a real audiophile or into music production. Matter of fact, maybe you never read credits on an album. So, here's one. Try reading the credits on All Eyes On Me. Quik was one of the main engineers on there and he has been known in the industry as one of the greatest to mess with the SSL 900 J mixing console. He has produced White, Janet, PAC, Jay-Z, etc. the list goes on. He is lyricist, musician, producer, and engineer. Before Kanye was doing it, we had Quik. Don't hate, homey. You got any classics? Nah. Nobody knows you. Lol
Quik deserves one just because of the "you left out the G because the G ain't in you" diss on eiht
97MA Seigi No Kage School[Righteous Shadows Dojo] You're entitled to your uninformed opinion bro.
Thanks for this. Enjoyed it completely.
My mans is wearin' a tie with a collared shirt, a sweater vest, and a wu-tang hoodie rockin' the only tooth in his head gold af🤣😎
The best producer/rapper there ever is nobody is going to reach what dre has done
I’m glad they brought some pasty middle aged white lady to explain to us that California love is about all parts of California and how they like to party. Before her the lyric “California knows how to party” was stumping me completely.

I love 😡 how in this documentary they just ignored dr.dre’s first solo artist The D.O.C was before snoop dog the even showed The D.O.C several times in the Film. The D.O.C had co-written several songs for dr.Dre ,snoop and early eminem.
They hatin on a Texas nigga

M here to just listen what Dre says and the background music, no others words enter my ears and mind.
Pretty sure the background music is not Dre's its Dr Type beats made by someone else.
All I can say is HELL YEAHHHH!!!
A guy with 4 or 5 albums in a 15yrs carrera with all this susces it’s just amazing god bless u and love ones Mr Dre
As a 10 year old Mormon boy growing up in Utah I was introduced to NWA via Straight Outta Compton. Loved it!
Dr Dre has changed the world of HIP^HOP music in the early nineties when he done the Chronic a classic and everyone who helped him on the record Dre done classics like the Snoop Dogg, Doggy style album one of my favourite albums of all time and I still listen to the album an awful lot but I still listen to the whole category of the Dr Dre Umbrella including many other artists who have been under the Dre tree since the beginning of HIP^HOP music facts man
When Becky couldn't pronounce Michel' le correctly, I signed out.
Lol Becky Hah yup
Respect the legends of west coast idc if ur from another than us Dr dre always had the beats from 90s-present so much respect to Dr dre and other producers in the future that got bad ass beats to the present and future
Legend has it that Dele Fadele has his own record label inspired by Eazy E… it’s called Toothless Records

goddammit!
Old dude gives a whole new meaning to "spitting facts", tooth be told...
Well ya they Brits bro they known for fucked up teeth 🤣 🤣🤣💀
I don't think that a person in their 50's is old. When I hear, "old guy," I picture a stooped-over man with a cane to walk with......an actual "senior citizen." Over 65 years.....really 70 years.

That’s so wrong. And so hilarious 😂🤣I’m 43, have straight teeth, and have never had a cavity, or lost any permanent teeth or had any pulled (I even have my wisdom teeth), but I always feel a bit sorry for people who have f’d up teeth.

Great video on Dr. Dre - very motivational for music producers
Dr.dre is the greatest producer in hip hop history...
Dre did not call the album Chronic 2001 cuza “millennium fever”, he released it at the end of 1999 and wanted to call it Chronic 2000 (makes sense), but suge Knight, in a F.U. Gesture to Dre released a death row compilation with the title fist to prevent Dre from being able to use it...
So then tell me why he wanted to call the album the chronic 2000?
@@charlesbrown8737 cuz it was like December of 1999 so he wanted it to be like 2000 cuz u k beganing to 2000

Why you bullying him for man he probably has something wrong but 😂😂😂😂

How influential, as I look at this I just realized that I was wearing DRebeats listen to this wow. Job well done Dre!!
Da guy da Don.... Every he touch to gold....
It's Michel'le not Michelle!! LOL
Ray Wright I know right?😂
Bitch needs to do some MFkn Research 🙄
Ray Wright Thank You! I was saying the same thing
Trayon Roberts they did the same thing on the d.o.c calling him doc😂.
Her real name is Michelle you dumbasses
VincentHanna121 okay thank you i had no idea😂😂 i also heard michel'le's name was in fact really michelle that she frenchified it up by adding the apostrophe and french accent.
Nasty-Nes played N.W.A. on the radio in Seattle. It's interesting how Arabian Prince is not discussed (he left the group before Ice Cube because he saw the business aspect wasn't correct). 16:44 discusses Dee Barnes. 17:21 discusses Michel'le. 17:32 discussed Tairrie B.
Yeah same with Straight Outta Compton, Arabian Prince wasnt portrayed at all. One of the founding members of NWA and wasnt even in the movie at all! He's been totally airbrushed from NWA history like he never existed. Why is that?
2001, 1 of da best album ever, speed light my fav!
Simply the best.
I’ll never understand how Dre could say that the “Straight Outta Compton” film inspired him to make the “Compton” album but choose NOT to put Compton rappers on the songs? 🤔 He at the least shoulda had a song featuring MC Ren, Yella and Cube. He at least coulda had songs on there with MC Eiht, DJ Quik, King Tee... He did have Game & Kdot so that’s cool, but it woulda been sick to have every known Hub City emcee feature on an album called Compton.
Cube was on it. And kdot was on 80 percent of the album
There's also the business side of the industry. There's no incentive to go around making deals with 10 different deals with 10 different companies and people taking cuts in the name of keeping everything Compton. It's a business.
You say, MC Eiht, DJ Quik, King Tee... You forgot about the magic word - "BUDGET" $$$$ - we know Dre made it but who paid for the project ?
Why is Arabian Prince always forgotten, as well as "NWA and the posse"
I love the instrumental at the end x
Peace and love and lets continue to raise our beautiful child because Kids and woman and music are our most precious and joyful pieces of out soul
I remember seeing this documentary when I was still at my lowest point. It's medication for me. X
Not a fan of these documentaries that are about someone but don't actually have THAT person in them...
How are we suppose to know if any of these people actually know what they are talking about.
Dre sitting at home watching this going "man these motherfuckers don't know shit".

you are a Dre groupie or you are gullible naive as hell. His money keep it a secret. He was jealous of Machel career taking off when she got that gold album Dre Fucked her up homie!
Dr. Dre is absolutely a great lyricis: "With a producer who can rap and control the maestro
at the same time with the dope rhyme that I kick..."
the shit line was written by a mediocre ghostwriter, You strange human.
Beautiful
Imagine when detox does come out?? I.hope.its a triple disk and then dre retires....
2001 Dr.Dre coolest album/ I like all there. Even a graphic design of a an album cover.
Kuanysh Kairbekov huh
Waow time flies by i remember all this like I was yesterday
At 2:09 I'm like what is Roy Jones Jr. Doing during a Dr. Dre Documentary. They look just alike 😂😂
Dre should call up Deadmau5 to finish Detox.
It will be one of the most insane albums.
If Dre is not going to make new albums for himself he should make some new mixtapes ad songs on soundtracks as well as sign more talent and help them shine.
LoL

All ya talking about his teeth but his amazing knowledge over his hip hop history.
He didn't mention the fact that Dres 2001 album was called 2001 because of Suge. Suge took the original album name Dre wanted so he changed it to 2001 apparently. Who knows if there is truth to that but he is very knowledgeable
if only i could listen to this music i would watch this documentary
