Upload a selfie or full body pic and get a pretty dang cool generated art image from it! But what if the AI app and I used the same reference photo to create an illustration - who would win?!
Don't mind that the app takes about 5 seconds and I took like 3,000x longer 😂

The thing that A.I. art lacks, is creativity.
No soul or energy, you can’t teach that.👈🏿🫡

It's funny that you said it lacked creativity even though it literally shows creativity
Besides, AI cannot do anything without human art, so it's still just like all of us where we are inspired by arts from other people, that we create our own little thing,
That's the exact same thing as how a AI would be trained on many, many arts, just for the bot to be more creative and not be copwriting literally
@@NoahtheGameplayer it doesnt show any creativity, it just traced the drawing
The artist always wins. There’s nothin like seeing a human being put time and effort into their craft. Plus it's not fair to call AI art the same as what humans make. Truthfully, anything can be art, because there are many different forms of it. LIke pottery, sculpting etc. But I find it disrespectfull when people say AI is the same as human creativity. It is a different form of art that is completely different with how humans create. It is the same as hand-made goods that are compared to factory materials, they simply aren't the same.
The speedrun is a proof that it's art.
Not in business. Why pay him x amount of money and wait 2 days when I could get an app and have the same thing in a fraction of time?

Yeah, I've been looking at several AI images and after a while they all look the same, they all use the same semi-realistic technique, the same poses, expression, and color schemes, it doesn't create anything new.

Personally liked yours better, not just because of the knowledge that's handmade but because when someone does the art of course can decide what and what not to add to make it more appealing while the auto generated one had little details that weren't as aesthetic.

One ai learns what is art and what is not.
Then another that is randomly made, start to bump out images. They start as random noise, the AI that knows how art looks like, rewards or punishes the creating AI, until it learn to create propper images.
The images are only required so that the first AI knows what is and what is not. Even if we ban that, the second one will still be available.
@@sheryboom678 My brother in christ, there's literally people typing artists names in Art AIs and the AIs give result, and for that the AI need to search through the internet, take several arts of this creator without their consent and mash it all to create something ""new""
Also, the problem are not the AIS itself, they are a good experiment on the capabilities of ai. the problem is it feeding on artists and copying them+people using it to sell art that they did not even drew. and claiming the art "their own" that is both a disrespect to the AI creators and artists it fed on.

How about add a third challenger…a purely practical artist. You know, pen, paint, canvas only. Even the “Pro Artist” here has half his work done with computer assistance.
In the 80s, I was a Graphic Artist for a Screen Printing company. Everything I did was with pen, ink, vellum, and cameras (to create the final images to be burned onto the mesh). I created corporate and private logos, t-shirt designs, banners, billboards, signs, basically anything you can think of. Even the curved letters on hats and Ts were done by hand, using protractors, rulers, and freehand much of the time.
In 1988, we paid $28k for a computer to assist in our imaging creation and of course storage, accounting, business management. I recall it was $150 for each new “text” we wanted to use. It was very useful in creating curved, dimensional, or warped lettering, and Clip Art was a big time saver, but overall, I still pretty much would freehand draw 80-90% of each finished image. Then scan the image and produce the final film for burning screens.
Creating a four color processed image, by hand, was an incredibly challenging task. Computers certainly helped in that aspect, but to me, the cost benefit never made sense. They spent what equaled 16 months of my salary to assist me in what I already did. Keep in mind this was the mid to late 80s, in SC, so we didn’t make much, lol.
I love being a actual artist

@@kittenkenoobi6294 Uhh... We're already there. Given a proper model, AI surpasses human capability. It can use the best patterns of every art that has existed in its influence. As we have more time to train better models, it's only getting better.
Don't try to outrun a car, you won't win. AI will do what people do, but better.
@@Icewind007hell no are you a robot or something?
I just saw this video and I already know you’re an absolute inspiration to everyone who watches your content
The real human artist, always. Your drawing is so expressive!
The A.I.: "Oh, yeah you really beat me! By any chance can I examine it further?"
Thats the smartest joke i have ever seen.
Holy crap it’s amazing how you did that in just over 4 hours- my art style isn’t even semi realism and my average time nowadays is 19-22 hours lol
Maybe you're just not good at it and should give up. AI is gonna make all the time you spent doing art a waste of time. Learn HVAC.
@@Trigger_NashI fucking knew someone from Somewhere around the world can Break someone's spirit by Sayin' he is "trash" oh man please grow up
@@Trigger_Nashdespite being a passionate artist myself, I'm going into sheet metal/HVAC cuz I wanna have a steady income (since trade work is AI-proof) while I work on my art.
@Schreibaby That's an excellent idea. HVACR, plumbing/pipe fitting, and electrical are already good careers, and the shifting economy will make them even better. That's the approach nearly all artists should take.
@@Trigger_Nash …
It’s funny how you automatically assume that I do art because I hope to someday make it my full time job
i was planning on eventually doing user interaction design or even software engineering, but way to put down other people’s hobbies, especially ones they’ve been working on and improving for basically their entire lives
One turned it into a picture with random lines added, one turned it into an actual original drawing.
"Ai is gonna replace even the best artists"
The best artists:
There are so many good “drawings” or “paintings” or “arts” coming from AI, which is amazing to say the least.
But I’d always prefer something that was made by another artist, not only because it is honsetly one of the thing that helped me to get connected with some new friends with the same interest! But also their sheer passion that they show while doing their artworks that captivated me with these art community! I could only wish to do the same.
And also to support another artist by commissioning them of course :D
Ive seen a few anime style generated stuff. While some of it looks good, often times there are errors here and there.
The art he made wins by a mile. Too bad that someone might have fed it to an AI machine already... This whole situation is just devastating for artists.
its actually becoming more and more devastating for AI devs rn, bcs of all the lawsuits and copyright claims. Commercially, AI is pretty much dead alrdy.
Artist for sure!! all that dreamy rendering and engaging portrait 🥰
when i found out ai is taking over art i cried
As good as ai art gets, it will never be as good as a real artist

Can you?
The lighting on yours is insane 🔥🔥🕺
The artist always wins.
The AI's one looks like it doesn't have a soul, meanwhile the Artist's drawing looks so full of life! Also, only 4+ hours for that?? Dang, that's impressive!
The artist one looks like it’s staring daggers at my soul.
Ai will only get better and it will be free to use. Businesses won’t want to pay artists to get something that looks 10% - 20% better. Prompting and asking ai what you want will be future of most jobs unfortunately same as art, as it will be quick and cheap.
There's not really a defined answer as to which one is better. The AI adds simplistic, yet realistic elements to the image, while yours adds more stylisation and has more of a rough, imperfect style.
That is tru, it really depends on people's taste too
Personally I think yours win as the person in your drawing actually looks alive
For 4+ hours, it's far more visually interesting than the AI one.
