Kamloops Thompson Honour Choir presents "Where the Light Begins"

Join us for our year end concert "Where the Light begins".
For half a century, the Kamloops Thompson Honour Choir has been a
cornerstone of our community. Founded in 1975 by Marian Owens, the choir has
inspired countless students to develop a love for singing, master proper vocal
techniques, and contribute to their community.
Under the dedicated leadership of Jennica Alpaugh for the past 16 years, and
accompanied by Lori Jane Froese, the choir has not only endured but thrived.
Despite the challenges posed by COVID-19 restrictions, these two remarkable
women have revitalized the choir, making it stronger than ever.
The impact of the choir resonates through the years, with former students
returning to lend their support and express their gratitude for the transformative
experiences they had. The Kamloops Thompson Honour Choir has been the
foundational step in after-school music education in Kamloops, nurturing a love
for music in many of its participants.
As we celebrate our 50th anniversary this year, we reflect on the enduring
strength of the choir and its profound influence on the lives of students, past
and present. We look forward to celebrating this milestone with both old friends
and new, proud of the legacy we continue to build.
