Honestly subscribing to this page is one of the best decisions i've made as an artist. You've put me on to so many gems. My appreciation for you is vast. Just wanted to say thank you man, keep the gems coming!
Legit! Been using submithub for a minute now. One thing you didn't mention is that they do have a pricing scheme. You can submit using standard credits (which you get 2 every 4hours I think) or premium ($1 per credit). If you use premium, it's guaranteed for the blog/label to listen to your song and provide feedback within 48hrs or your credit back. They do whatever they want with standard submissions.
Professor Wiseman thanks for the info!
Professor Wiseman thanks 4 the info.
How do u pay then ?
Professor Wiseman bet bro
Bro, thank you for this. The internet really is a blessing man.
Been using this site for my last few music videos and I can say, it’s definitely about consistency with this site. A lot of writers have opinions so don’t be discouraged, but if your content is good enough they will post it. It’s like being your own publicist!
Submit hub is the wave, I’m glad u putting people on
I am completely new to using it. Thanks to you! I really love the amount of valuable, and informative content you put out!
I’ve been using this gem for a minute. Some great things have come from it.
Thanks for the video! Happy to answer any questions anyone's got about SubmitHub as well -- started it just over 2 years ago and still coding on it every day :)
Would you recommend this for music producers as well or is it primarily for artists only?
Jason Grishkoff can U elaborate on the sync deals
Manager_Tuck my understanding of sync deals is that it's anything to with getting your music in film, tv, adverts, video games, etc. That help?
@Jason Grishkoff Does this site gives any result for new artists means will it help for real in any way and how much time will it take to get us those results?
please answer.
Thanks :)
Jason Grishkoff hey I'm a new artist and I want to know how I get my music noticed on there.
Great video! I just signed up after watching this! Thanks Brandman!
Love this page... Great videos. There's not very many I trust for music business info. This is one. Keep the good stuff coming homie.
LIterally just submitted and bought credits last night. lol great video! thanks!!
Wow sooo much stuff changed. Am impressed. 😁😁😁😎😎 the raising artist lot remainds me hype machine. Awsome
"Had to make a quick edit cause my internet was being a lil bitch (big sean voice)" hahahaha
Liking this video for calling your internet a bitch! I'm surprised to see Tritonal on the rising artists list. They are an established artist and have been for awhile.
Another helpful video bro much appreciated bro🙌🙌🏄🏄🏄
Awesome vid as always. Just spent a few dollars on some credit, I'm not really a serious musician but I thought it sounds like a cool concept. Imma drop an update/review of my experience to enlighten other artists if it's worth it or not when they comes across this video in the comment section.
Luminous B Yeah please do an update, I’ve used hype machine in the past, and it’s been a hit and a miss. I don’t mind dumping money into a site if it’s worth it
So what happen??
I completely forgot to update. But I got some feedback pretty quick in less than week, but it's wasn't as brutal or as in depth as I would like.
Feedback 1: Vocals were cool on "far" - dug the rap flow but overall not finding this to be that catchy so i will pass on this one.
Feedback 2: the lyrics and the vocals are too poppy. mix down needs work too
Feedback 3: HI there, we liked the singing/rap style of the vocals, the production is solid but we'd have liked more variation in the arrangement and tone as the track played on, for 'Far' to really work for us. All the best!
Feedback 4: Sorry, I couldn't quite get into the vocals or melody on this one. Thanks for submitting it, though!
In conclusion I didn't learn much, just seemed like personal preference apart from how the mixdown needed work, which I thought so too.
This service is a no from me.
But I make music that doesn't really fit into a genre, if you're someone who makes music that fits into a genre I think you'll find this useful. You have to submit your song/songs to blogs that review/submit and specialize in certain genres, since I couldn't figure out wtf mine is I was already destined to not get proper feedback.
what are some good blogs that you would recommend brandman?
about to submit my first track, any advice before I get started?
I cant make an account. it keeps saying hit the back button to repaste the link
Really dopeee
Thank you.
My experience: It's all fun and games... if you're making happy indie/folk, EDM and (t)rap music. It's kinda useless for alternative rock, dark electronic and similar genres because a very few blogs are interested in those. And if they say they are - it needs to be very radio friendly, not too aggressive (it needs to be Imagine Dragons kinda alternative). And most of these blogs just take your money (if you're paying) and give you copy/paste feedback: 'Your music and production is great but we are more into dance, ukulele and clapping... bla bla'
Yo i watch and learned alot from these videos
Thank you
Hey it's Nick Owens I've posted a few songs on submit and Spotlister and got positive results and placements in both!
Nick Owens how many streams were gained and what blogs picked it up ??
💖👌👌👌 awesome...
Great info here. Is submit hub good for all genres? I make mostly ambient/ lofi/ chillhop music. Thanks man!
"It's just better for my face" :D
Yes i know about submithub and they are great
I might look into this, anyone have any experience with this website?
Lol night mode 🤣 because it's better for your face lol 😂
SubmitHub sounds promising...but let's be real...you likely need to have a following before you can get on the blogs. Why would a blog want to premier your song when you don't already have a following? They need to drive traffic. Good music is the #1 thing but I can't say its enough on its own.
Would you say... SubmitHub is more for market research (getting feedback before you release a song) than a place where you pitch to blogs and get published on blogs? Since you're not guaranteed to be on a blog, you're at least guaranteed to get feedback.
Good video
Submithub isn't really free and the feedback is usually pretty weak. It may be good for research but I wouldn't use it unless you really had cash to waste
clutch
Is this good for producers / beat makers?
Nope. Your music needs vocals unless you're producing instrumental electronic music to be considered for these blogs. They are looking for a "final product". Hope that helps.
There are instrumental playlist on spotify and places looking for them on submithub
new lens? video looking crispy my dude.
Jahvy ain't it tho!
Thank you brandman Sean for trying to help the community you are great and so is ur channel however Submit hub is terrible. 10/10 times they decline your music and never post it and you also have to pay for credits in order to submit. It’s the most trash website any artists can use. They benefit of the fact that ppl want their music heard and do nothing with the actual music no good critiques nothing
Do they have an app up yet for submithub?
Heyo, SubmitHub dude here. It works pretty well on mobile and I'm the only guy developing this, so... mobile isn't really a priority right now. Hope you can still get by on it :-D
Jason Grishkoff dope af! Appreciate it.
@Jason Grishkoff
submithub is trash on mobile. it says so right on the site, what are you talking about?
I liked this video because he called his internet a bitch LOL
Is this legal according to Spotify´s rules?
what part do you think might not be legal?
@@jpdlr75 Spotify will ban payed placements and guaranteed streams etc. So yea, doesn´t sound like submithub is worth it.
SubmitHub is not about payed placements nor guaranteed streams.. don't know where you got that idea. As a matter of fact the creator of SH is very close with Spotify helping to shut down any fake accounts and bans any user that does payola.
You have to buy credit and access to contact people. Free credit is so minimal that it doesn't even matter. What you say sound cool, but submithub just looks like a way to get my money like so many of the other services. How are the money we spend here more "legit" and how come Spotify has a relationship with someone doing what they supposedly oppose ahainst? Seems wayy too funky
@@waetunes I didn't say Spotify has a relationship with Submithub. They do report any suspicious activity/accounts for Spotify to take action. You are fee to spend your money in the service that fits best for you, or not spend your money at all. I'm just saying that there is nothing illegal in Submithub nor is it against any Spotify's rules. I think Submithub gives the artists more value, compared to other similar platforms, because it provides the artists (submitters) as much information possible of the blog/playlists in order to decide which one is best for your music, and @Jason Grishkoff is always open to chat for any questions or concerns.
Submithub is in the way they sending me a bunch of good feedback but at the same time don’t use my music don’t make sense
You should do one on reverbnation
Osei Jones reverbbation sucks I got nothing from them . I entered contests and didn't win to get my music promoted and some of the contest you had to pay to get in . Reverbbation is garage just a money hustle
Submit hub is the REAL money hustle, they barely post %10 of what they get from ALL artist.
I've gotten legit LIVE SHOWS that PAID ME from reverbnation, and I use the site for FREE.
I've done nothing but paid people to tell me I'm garbage OR they "ABSOLUTELY LOVE" my music...but won't share it...because...
Lmao sheesh
where the fuck the hip hop at in the genres
Who downvoted this?
Just tried it. if you enjoy reading this then go for it "Awesome track..great bassline..nice moody..not for me though good luck"
