Thanks for the vid. Great info. We just moved here and are excited to explore!
I feel like this is the first real estate infomercial I’ve ever seen that details why it’s good for family life.
Great video my friend! Congrats from Brazil! Tks!
Very nice.. im in California and used to live in Melbourne , You have given me good advise about moving back.. its still lovely. Thanks. Fantastic Video.!!!
I am looking to move here. Thank you for all of the helpful information!
Thanks, Jake. Cool video. We moved here from Orlando during covid. Absolutely love it! Live on Banyan with our dog and new baby. Hope to see you around. (We liked Rock Harbor when they used to meet in the park. That was really cool to go to an outside service. Also really like their Easter service on the beach! )
Awesome! I’m sure we’ll run into each other eventually.
Our Family was just there for a week. We got an Airbnb and we loved it there. We miss it there already. I actually miss it that's why I CZcams videos about Melbourne Beach.
We had the best shopping experience at Glitter Alley / Bonnie was AWESOME. Lots of friendly people there.
We're from Minnesota & definitely be back.
such a small world @ezrastoyland8710 realtor from Minnesota ! been going since I was 5 every dec to Hollywood in between Miami and Fort Lauderdale and we recently stayed in Melbourne beach and I fell in love ! Just googled videos myself !
Exellant video.
You are absolutely right! melbourne Beach is gorgeous, people really nice, big turtles come to beaches, lots of protected land preserved on the ocean, no high rises. Much better than the West Coast. South fl or Destin area. Sadly, being discovered lately as aerospace companies have come in nearby..great bike path along A1A and big wide beaches, greenery on the beaches. One of the few unspoiled by developers areas left in Florida.
Hello Jake and Kaylee,
We just watched your video. Well done. We live in Laguna Beach, Ca. and just bought a townhome in Mel Beach for pretty much exactly the reasons you talk about, with one added reason. My mom lives in Indiatlantic. Our townhome is just across A1A from the beach, so we are excited to be bi-coastal pretty soon.

Thank you for this informative video! Could you share more about the home schooling and how one would go about it living in these small towns.
Great video. My wife are in the Tampa area and looking to retire to Melbourne / Melbourne Beach. I agree with all the information you have provided. We love there and take several trips a year to Melbourne / Melbourne Beach. I would add 3 restaurants to your list, Cafe Coconut Cove, Hemingway's and Frigates :).
Melboring Beach.
Precisely.
U mean Melbourne Australia. Best beach
Less crowded including less traffic. Free parking on the beach that's actually available. Low crime. I'll take this over big cities and Cali.

Really excellent video, Jake - well done! We're planning on buying an oceanfront condo this year and had been focusing on the Satellite Beach-Indialantic area, but we'll now consider Melbourne Beach area as well. We prefer a more 'laid back' vibe. On a side note; we'd take flying out of MLB any day over a non-stop out of Orlando. Just not worth the dangerous drive, chaotic airport roads and expensive parking, imho :)
I took my family on vacation to Melbourne for 12 out of 13 years ❤
A1a is my pick in Melbourne beach
One year. Thanks genius
we vacationed there in May 2023 for the first time. We really enjoyed the area.
stayed off avenue b for my first time in Melbourne great gym up in cocoa beach !
Thanks for the video. Is Palm Bay nice and a cheaper option meaning under $500k?
correct, it's not on the beach but about a 30 minute drive
You mentioned there was a small fee to park in the smaller lots. Is it per hour or a daily fee?
Too bad this video and others on this place are gettin traction and put on blast. Found this place as well in 2018. Hopefully it doesn’t get ruined.
Videos like this the reason I’ll never be able to afford to live in my hometown. Disappointing to see.
Oh I see good talent Melbourne Beach keyword Beach not Melbourne or Brevard County I get it
Hey Jake, what about the water situation? I am looking to move there but uncovered a pretty alarming water quality issue. What do you make of this?
What water quality issue are you talking about?
@@JakeGosselinCZcams Drinking water containing high levels of PFAs, lead etc. Caused a ‘cancer cluster’ in the area. Old military bases dumped waste everywhere + firefighting foam contaminated the groundwater.
Seems to be super swept under the rug, doesn’t make me feel too good about moving there anymore. Almost makes me think it’s a reason why real estate is so cheap! I am still early in my research on the topic, it’s either people are wildly concerned or not knowing about it. Just looking for some local input
I do remember someone mentioning that, but it was primarily about satellite beach not so much Melbourne Beach. we do use filtration for all of our drinking water
@@JakeGosselinCZcams
A lot of those chemicals are "forever chemicals" that don't break down and remain in the body like my contamination from Camp Lejeune.
I'm fairly sure your filters don't catch those.
Last time I checked you can’t operate an Airbnb west of A1A. How did you get the city to grant you a permit to operate?
That’s true in some of the other beach towns nearby like Indialantic. Mel beach is much more STR friendly. Only places that have restrictions are HOA. Getting a Mel Beach permit still took work as they have a lot of safety guidelines you have to follow.
@@JakeGosselinCZcams
STR friendly because they want the tourist dollars.
i live in palm bay, i i wan go to the beach, then melbourne beach
nice how many shark bites per year??
How many you want?
You can't swim on that beach at any time of the year, there is always a lot of air and therefore waves that drag you down, I don't like a beach where I can't swim.
Sorry Hobe Sound is the best
Just drove through there yesterday. Nice little town. Not as nice as Mel beach lol
Please stop exploiting us!
America is Capitalist.
If you have something to offer, we're going to check it out.
Simmer Down now.
Looks like a great place. But dude, vast majority of people can’t afford multi million dollar homes or even half a million. So your target audience for that is nearly zero.
I like what the Roman Senate said about that in Mel Brooks History of the World.
Respectfully brother you’re not a local.
No a big fan of that beach
Bro! Am a native....and it's getting worse cause of people moving there!....get lost!
I prefer Hallandale beach Florida beautiful city good beaches and restaurants and growing businesses and communities, and good night life.🫡
