Thank you for this panel! I have been procrastinating my leap into content creation, so I needed to hear this honest discussion.

This was very informative, i will continue to post everyday. The most i got out of a brand deal was $15 per post of modeling a clothing brand

I love love these so much. I’m hoping to see lots more. I think I saw a teacher one too as I think it may also help us realize why so many leave certain fields in mass. They assume general public knows why but we don’t. Parents especially don’t completely understand the teacher mass exodus. Also, I want to see if you have done reporters, weatherman, producers and anchors etc.

Also, are there behind the scenes groups or forums that help new creators know how to deal brand deals, what UGC is, what to charge, etc as I feel there is a huge discrepancy and if one creator charges too much they will shop and find another with just as many followers charging way less because there isn’t an industry standard to charge. Also, do Reels on Instagram pay? Do viral videos pay? On TikTok, how does it work? I have seen some say to engage on a post, so they can buy their kid something or pay a medical bill etc. I have googled and watched some videos, but it’s hard to piece it together.
I feel like somewhere behind the scenes there is a training course or private forum training people. Y’all keep saying y’all learned this and that from “the panel”. What panel??
When I was a mom blogger many years ago, we didn’t get paid, just reviewed items. Getting paid started by mom bloggers about when I stopped doing it as I had two special needs kids and needed real money, not just items in return for review. We didn’t have Instagram or social media.

This was awesome! I loved being able to hear a panel of creators talk about various topics. It's nice to be able to look behind the curtain to really see what kind of money is made or what a day looks like as a creator or just things that creators think about. I also loved that everyone realized they were undercharging...the power of sharing is real!

This channel is dope, also lol, I remember doing government contracting, too. It honestly sucks, and they definitely underpay people. Once you get a federal government job with a high promotion potential, that is when you hit pay dirt.

Can confirm this sentiment since I have been on both sides of the fence. Worse with government contracting, you hardly get any benefits or PTO but it depends on the company from what I heard.

Hopefully future contracts won't have the nondisclosure provision.
