The Darche Ridgeback HighRize Hard Shell Rooftop Tent is sure to keep you up even when the weather gets you down.
The removable fly has a UV rating of 50+ and a 3000mm water rating, so you won’t get sunburnt or sopping wet while you’re under cover. The pack-up and pack-down processes are made easy with the German-engineered Stabilus gas struts, so you have more time for the fun stuff. For your convenience, there are internal pockets for your bits and pieces, as well as rooftop storage.
This spacious shelter has 6 widows in total providing a near panoramic view of your surroundings and exceptional ventilation that is only enhanced by the memory foam mattress. This mattress is 55mm, with a water-resistant base and a 10mm anti-condensation mat for complete comfort.
The heavy-duty nature of this tent is all due to the self-repairing coil zips and reinforced stitching on stress points, so you don’t have to worry when the winds reach a high. The included brackets suit most commercial flat roof racks or roof rail systems.
Your Darche Ridgeback HighRize Hard Shell Rooftop Tent is sure to get you through the night, rain, hail, or shine.

Can you mount ontop of this roof top tent? love hearing about what you can mount to the sides and the top
We're not 100% sure @Hexor LOL - I've enquired with Darche for some more info...will let you know when we hear back.

Would be a mission to climb onto the roof of my ute to pull down one side of the tent.
Maybe it designed to be fitted to a trailer and not a vehicle
Going by this vid I'm pretty sure a ladder is supplied in the package.
The ladder is included as C.Nile mentioned @kadiocalc - generally no issues with pack up or set up, its pretty straight forward.

How does the fly go in the wind? It looks like it would probably flap around a lot.
We've had no negative reports on it so far. Fairly safe to assume it will flap around a bit, but no more than the awning on any other camping gear. You'd obviously use some common sense with how you orient your vehicle & tent if you're expecting rough weather, or not set the awning up at all if it's super windy.

Idea for you. 99% of Americans have no idea how long / wide that tent is. If you want to sell that in the US, maybe do the conversion for us.
Or, do what the rest of the planet does and do your own conversion and research when the vid you watching is made by people in the US.
I’m not sure if Snowy’s do global shipping or even stock tents for left hand drives. 😂
Just kidding.
We only ship within Australia, Steven, so all our content is created with our Aussie customers in mind. ~ Ben
Sounds like an American problem to me. Might be time to catch up with the rest of the world :)
@@lufkin87 I thought he would've known that we're not part of the US, but perhaps not.
Maybe he should google USAustralia, there might be such a place. 😉
