- Foreigners first time in Pakistan! Join us for our first impressions of Lahore, Pakistan as we explore the walled city of Lahore for the first time!
We start our day with some breakfast after which we take a rickshaw to the Delhi Gate and the Delhi Gate marked. During our walk through the walled city of Lahore we stumble upon the Wazir Khan Mosque, a beautiful mosque from the Mughal era.
After exploring the walled city we head over to the Badshahi Mosque where we met lots of friendly people before exploring the beautiful mosque itself. Unfortunately it’s quite hot and as such we don’t have the energy anymore to explore Lahore fort so we take another rickshaw back to our hotel before coming back out for dinner at the famous Haveli restaurant while admiring the sunset over Badshahi Mosque!

Our First impression of Lahore Pakistan. We had an awesome time even though it got a little hot!

Welcome to my city Lahore ,but I live in Canada, Toronto. Last time I visited Lahore it was 3 years back ,actually I think it's too hot for you too handle ,bcuz of hot weather people usually stay home ,and only come out with families to park or shopping usually after 6 or if weather is good .missing my city like crazy especially the scrumptious food 😋.

I was cringing here when they asked to take selfies with you guys. I know they don't get to see much tourists but tbh it's just weird taking pictures with random white people walking by. Kudos to you for letting them take pictures.
We honestly don't mind. It's not just Pakistan either. We first had this experience 5 years ago when we were in Yogyakarta Indonesia. Then again Malaysia, Vietnam. Odette had the same experience in India before we met and I'm sure other countries we have not visit yet! I admit the first time it happened to us 5 years ago we weren't sure why it was happening. We get as people living in western countries this doesn't ever happen but now its part of the travelling experience! something we learned because of travelling ! 😁

Lahore for Canuks in summer? Head North guys. You can barely handle Florida in summer let alone Lahore or Karachi. North should be pleasant right now. Summer is time to visit North and winter to visit the mega cities south. In summer Lahore and Karachi, outside life starts at night.

Rob you're doing wonders with videography...well done...and SHE knows a lot about Pakistan...hahaha...that's great...and Rob your URDU skills are wonderful...on top of that she knows how to say...CHALO...Let's Go 🤗 Guys...one tip for your travel series....Pakistani markets open late and due to heat wave...and public or people who wants to do shopping...they visits markets late in evening...when sun goes down...in evening weather is bearable...more time to chill...you guys must visit food street near Badshahi mosque where you ate food in HAVELI RESTAURANT..but in evening...views and lights are spectacular...also visit Liberty market(Gulberg, Lahore)...fortress stadium(Lahore)...and you want to enjoy nature...you could visit Jinnah Garden(Baagh-e-Jinnah) and RACECOURSE PARK..

Wonderful video guys!!! Its probably better if one visits Haveli Restaurant at the end of the day (evening or night) when its less heat so you can sit outside with a good view of the mosque when its lit up. It looks amazing!!! Try it next time 😊

If you really want to beat the heat in Pakistan...then...head towards Northern Areas of Pakistan...Naran...Kaghan...Balakot...Malam Jabba(Swat)...or maybe Sikurdu...Hunza...

Best time to visit Northern Areas is June to August but still Your visit to Pakistan is in complete without going to the North side.

yee May June July and may be August are bit punishing in my city Lahore, even i don't dare to go out for fun after 10, anyways sometimes there are rains during these months in Lahore that make us a bit cool. people here are super happy to see you among but the problem is they get a bit over, the best way is to avoid them if you do not want too much attentions or selfi requests
