- Hello! Let the holiday season begin! In today's video, join me on my favorite forest walk, which some of you may recognize. I've filmed here before when it was all green, but today, it's covered in a snow blanket. Estonia looks truly like a winter wonderland at the moment. This year, we've already received an abundance of snow, for which I'm very grateful. It's not every year that we see this much snow at the end of November or even in December.
Later, my mother and I will be setting up a Christmas tree and decorating the house with Christmas decorations. All the wreaths shown in this video are crafted by my mother. I hope I can convey the magical feeling I get every Christmas, ever since I was a child. Enjoy! :)

I’m a brand new viewer and I was so taken by the quiet calmness and magical beauty of your Christmas decorating using medium and darker neutral colors! I noticed that you don’t use any red in your decorating. I am so inspired by your lovely home that I am re-thinking my usual mostly red and green decor for something softer and more natural for Christmas. I miss snow so much! when I was a child - it started to snow around mid-November and the snow stayed till the end of March... nowadays... we hadn'd had snow for Christmas for past 10 years :( Last proper winter in PL was 15 years ago [the year I started dating my now husband]
There are winters in Estonia where we get much less snow, too, or sometimes we only get significant snowfall later in December or even January.

Your home is so festive and cosy. A few years ago in the UK we had a lot of cold weather which came in from the east and brought with it lots of beautiful deep, powdery snow. We called it the 'Beast from the East' 😂 It caused chaos but it was so magical and pretty! I wish we could have it every year.
