- Shadow Machamp is so good in the current Meta! The buffed Cross Chop certainly helps but this Pokemon was so much better than I thought! You will surely see more of it in the future!

First thing I thought of when I saw the cross chop buff was that shadow Machamp is back lol; the youngins don't know about when Shadow Machamp ruled over pretty much every tier of GBL
Me too I was excited to see what team Jonkus made so I can copy it but I don’t have either Cress or Licky (my fault I hate grinding the and skip most events)

@@ivangonzalez6831basically, Annihilape is now then fighter that beat other fighters including Medi so just like Medi gate kept every fighter for so long, Annihilape now gate keeps every fighter and Medi
But if you ask me. Psycho cuat Medicham with dynamic punch and psychic might be some interesting anti meta tech.

I have a rank 80 something lickitung and a rank 1 (non shadow) machamp!

I wrote down every pokemon battlewise and found whiscash in 11/25 battles and lanturn on 7/25 battles

Greedent is about the closest comp but not as bulky, dubwool is also decent and a XL diggersby if you have one although the ground sub typing makes it valuable to water and ice

Vigoroth might do the same thing. The role of Lickitung is just to bait Annihilape. Greedent as well could do the same.
Vigoroth though has a really bad Annihilape matchup so if you don't want to give Annihilape that much energy, something that can do.more.damage to Annihilape would be better
Dunsparce Is cool too. Reasonable bulky and has good coverage
@@MJ-nu7pg kinda in the same boat as Vigoroth in that they bait the Annihilape but they do so little damage, Annihilape can no shield farm down pretty much.
Honestly Greedent might be the only viable replacement with the bulk and can threaten maybe a shield with two crunches/trailblaze
Munchlax or Snorlax... could also fit this role.

Is Charjabug, guzzlord greninja a good team?, I don’t have access to the newly buffed pokemon and I do have a weakness to a bastion and a carbink but basti shouldn’t be seen as often due to the buffed new mons and carbink gets destroyed by skarmory whiscash

No
Depend on the pool of other shadows you have. If you only have this one and are a casual gamer go for it. There’s of course better ivs but depends again on your situation.
Try and get one with lower attack (0-3)

@@grimoire3940 Medicham never loses Machamp but due to annihilape there are less Medicham then before so more place for Machamp.
Psychic getting constantly nerfed hence it got stuck with Dynamic Punch as a 2nd move, losing its wide neutral coverage. Plus newcomers like Poliwrath & Annihilape can do a lot more stuff that Medicham can't.
This team is not it man. Just played against a team with charmers in the back on 5 straight games
