    For those whos Battery mapping works wrong. Switch to Keyboard > scale bank > main. And everything works like a charm!

    Just want to mention that in your group, you can route midi from each pad to Battery and use Transpose to send the specific note for the specific sound in Battery. You can also route each sound from Battery as audio inputs on each Maschine pad in the group. This allows you to play Battery just like a regular Maschine group. Each pad triggers a Battery sound and the audio comes into Maschine mixer so you can add effects to each sound and mix them.

    For those not finding the different drums on KEYBOARD mode, go down a few octaves; they start at C1

      Something weird is happening that is driving me crazy, please help. So I load up the kit "2 Funk Kit" - it has 48 sounds. When I go to keyboard mode, I can play each sound individually. All good. Now I load up another kit. This one is "6 Feet Kit." This one has 16 sounds. But when I go to keyboard mode, every single sound is exactly the same. It's just playing the sound that's assigned to the pad on pad mode, but every single note on keyboard mode is that same pad sound. Why?!?! Both kits are battery kits. What gives?

      Drumkit mode on?

      @@BlezzBeats Yeah, Drumkit mode is on. I even tried to right click the group and change the Group midi batch settings to "Sounds To Midi Notes." I'm stumped. Thank you for the reply though.

      @@BlezzBeats I figured it out! I just needed to change octaves to the correct range of notes. The default range for Maschine's pads started on C3 and ended on D#4. When I loaded the kit, the very first cell on Battery was a bass sound, and when I looked at Battery's Key Range window -- by default it was set to D#2 / G8. So playing any pad within that set range would play the bass sound. I pressed Maschine's "octave-" button to drop the range down to C1 / D#2, and then it played all the loaded sounds normally.
      I thought I'd come back and tell you in case other people had this same hangup. Cheers.
      Edit: Holy shit I'm so dumb, the solution was literally what Matt Diamond said in his original comment. How did I miss that?! Oh wow I feel so incredibly dumb right now. EEEEEsh. Anyway thanks to you both lol.

    so you need to own battery for this to work with maschine?

    • @BlezzBeats

      Yeah to use Battery you need Battery, the tutorial is just for that use case specifically

    • @BlezzBeats
      @BlezzBeats  Před rokem

      @@dontbelazy3136 I don't see why you need Battery honestly, if you want expansions all the sounds are there in Maschine format, groups sounds and regular samples. Buying expansions is optional I mean it comes jam packed and you can use any sample you want. More fun to build your own library!

    I went down in octaves but the sounds are all over the place. It does not map correctly on pad as shown on the battery window. Please advice.

    • @BlezzBeats
      @BlezzBeats  Před rokem

      It's mapped just as it would be on a keyboard, from the top left to the right and every row down (in the battery window, and bottom left to the right and every row upward on the Maschine pads.

      Reinstall it. Make sure you have them in the same folder. You can check it from Native Access preferences.

      Throw it out the window. If you throw it against a wall in your house you have to deal with picking up all of those pieces afterwards.
