About this Video:
One who removes darkness and leads towards light is called 'Guru'. Guru is the one who removes ignorance or Guru is the one who shows the path of Dharma. By the grace of Guru only, one can experience the soul. All the scriptures have praised the Guru element. There may be differences in the existence of God, but no differences have arisen for the Guru till date. Everyone has accepted Guru as the supreme source of knowledge. Every guru has given full respect and praise to other gurus.
Due to his importance, the Guru has been given a higher position than God. In the scriptures itself, the Guru is accepted as the different forms of God - Brahma, Vishnu and Maheshwar. Guru is called Brahma because he imparts knowledge and gives new birth to the disciple. The Guru is also Vishnu because he protects the disciple.Guru is also the Maheshwar because he destroys all the defects of the disciple.
Even Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh sing the glory of Sadguru.
