I really enjoyed this craft with me! I love wood transfers! I’m notta fan of ouija boards…chalk it up to bad experience lol. But I love the Victorian aesthetic of the board and the planchet lookin like a frilly box of chocolates was absolutely gorgeous! I might just have to make some faux boxes with wooden plaques now lol! I have never gotten a box of chocolates in my close to 40 years due to my peanut allergy but when I was younger I saved some my dad got my mom and they’re still in my trunk 😂 there’s just something about a frilly heart shaped box 🤷♀️. Love your craft with me’s! ❤️❤️❤️

If you look at the planchet right-side up, it looks like a spooky face. The ribbon is it's eyes, and the opening it's mouth. Too cute for words!

I think it looks wonderful as in, but if you want the board and planchette look like they belong together more than they already do, I suggest painting a solid border around the perimeter of the board, in the same color as the darkest (most noticeable) shade of pink ribbon of the planchette.

This is my NEW favorite thing you’ve ever made, and the way you did the planchette is absolutely flooring me! I collect old vintage heart chocolate boxes like this and use them as wall decor year-round, but now I want to make ribbons like this and put them on everything 😅

I personally cannot stand Valentine’s Day. I was supposed to be born on Valentine’s Day, but was 4 days early. My entire existence has been people shoving Valentine’s Day aesthetics down my throat, and my birthdays are full of pink/purple/red heart shaped or loved themed things and I just can’t stand it. I hate being born so close to a holiday because it just completely overshadows it.
But I do like Ouija boards, so here I am.

This is a whole new level of creativity. You could sell these for sure! The only detail I’d add is putting a little bit of black on the planchette in a delicate way somehow. Maybe the inside of the circle could be black or if the light pink ribbon had a black stitch or black lace underside, etc. Just to further match to the board. I love it! ❤️❤️❤️
It’s a little hard to tell on camera but the board actually doesn’t have any black on it! The darker color is a very deep red 😍 BUT if someone wanted to make it a bit more goth and less soft, adding black elements would be gorgeous too!
