- this is a Huskee lawnmower but however this will work on 90% of all riding lawnmowers with a single cylinder so I hope it helps you fix your riding lawn tractor.

This was exactly what I was needing to watch….. everything was going smoothly until you totally skipped over the bowl removal, cleaning and reassembling and reattaching it back on…… 🤯
Exactly
I haven't worked on mine yet. Thankyou for showing this much! I suspect the venturi in the bowl is plugged because the lawn mower was sitting a few years.
Was going to fix a leak in the floatbowl and clean the carburetor on my parents lawnmower (which is the exact same) but then saw that a brand new replacement only cost about 18 dollars on Amazon. So was MUCH easier to just replace the entire carb. But the video was very helpful on showing the removal process. Thanks!
Way easier just to replace for the regular person
Thank you you helped. Ignore useless comments that have nothing to do with the great explanation for those who are here to learn. Comment about you not having grads, what does that have to do with you helping us ? They are useless comments of negative people, have nothing better to do than just waste time on something that has nothing to do with the great job you do helping people who need d the help. Thank you!!!!
You're welcome!
You sound like a pretty relaxed guy. I enjoyed the video, you made it look easy!
Thank you
Bro you sprayed the out side of the carburetor off? O.o did you forget to open it up and clean that also?
Got it started yahoo. I'll take it up here in Michigan where we have grass. Ditch the deck change out the pulleys and make it a sand racer.
I ended up selling at $700
Lol great video dude! I have a different mower but your video is exactly what I was looking for! Plus we both got to laugh at your mistake 😁
😂😂😂😂 thank you for watching
Mann why you have that? Ain't no grass out there. Lol nothing but dirty
I know right in the Mojave desert only rich have grass
@@RepairGang I was legit going to say not trying to be funny, but why do you have a lawnmower? 😂
Knowing me I would have bent it. Since I have a Cub Cadet tractor this is very helpful. Oh yea that runs god. Nice job Andrew.
Thank you bill
@@RepairGang Your welcome Andrew.
Lol Bill yup, just a little more. Snap
@@MyGreenLawn2019 Absolutely😂
Excellent video, EXCEPT you did not show how to take off the bowl. I found that frustrating as I have not dealt with a carburetor that had the electronic connection on the bottom. I had to get a thin 13mm wrench for my as the space was not enough to fit a standard wrench into. And a little more detail about where to spray cleaner. Otherwise, great job.
OMG thank you, this is what I needed to know
13 mm wrench on what ?
I dont understand the issue is in the bowl and everyone
stops short and buys a new carb, very frustrating
Sounds good, I have similar tractor, is pouland pro, make noise like fuel is moving into carburetor, it doesn't want start, I will do all of this video probably it helps to understand what is happening, I hope solve my issue, thanks for your video
Let me know what happened
This is a very helpful video, I love your Tats!
Thank you
Super video man 👍👍👍 which spray are you using to clean the carb ?? Tks 😊
Thank you, brother! This helped so much!
😎
Nice video man. Easy to follow
I try
@@RepairGang lol that’s all we can do
Thank you that's exactly what I needed to know thank you
No problem
Teach your kids this fathers
Thank you! This helps me a lot.
Glad to hear
Fired right up don't you love it when that happens 👍
Best feeling ever
About to execute this exactly.
Thanks.
I have a lawn chief that turns over good but takes forever to start up put a new air filter in it and still doing it would it have to be the carburetor? It runs great when it's running but just takes forever to start up
Praise the sun tattoo 🏆⭐️✅ awesome!!!
Nothing like some jolly cooperation
thank you!
I haven't pulled an engine apart in a few years. In the old days, we always added gasket sealer to the gaskets to ensure no leaks. But it looks like you used no sealer.
I have to install a new carburetor on a Briggs and Stratton 18 HP riding mower, and it came with gaskets but no instructions.
Are the generic gaskets provided with small engine carburetors good enough these days that no one needs to add sealer?
Also, these parts usually have a listed "torque" number of pounds in terms of tightening to meet manufacturer standards. Is there a basic torque that is considered average for tightening the bolts on a small carburetor like this one? I would guess 15 lbs or thereabouts, but I'm guessing.
Good video Andrew
Appreciated ya
I need to know how to take it apart
Thanks for the video
You bet
Do I need to stick my tongue out too? 😂 jk thanks for video though, I need it!!
LOL i am trying to catch myself and stop that idk why I do that
@@RepairGang haha 😄 whatever gets the job done right!, it's ok I grow an overbite when I concentrate on anything 😆
Dark souls fan you got my sub sun bro
Jolly cooperation
@Repair Gang hey I got a question does the choke rod Attach to the choke arm
At 7:33, everything moves smoothly when you push on the linkage. I can't get mine to do that. Does that mean it's wrong?
Could be yes
My air intake hose came off completely and I do t know where to plug it back into can someone help
I have a troybilt TB46. Will this be about the same way cleaning the carb?
Yes
@@RepairGang ran into a problem when reinstalling the carb on my troybilt TB46 rider. It's got a 547cc engine.
One of the fuel solenoid wires broke. Is there an easy way reinstall the connector?
Are the linkages & governor spring supposed to have a bend in them?
@@eqbuffers8011 I recommend just taking off the fuel solenoid and snipping it
you did not remove the bowl which has no nut.... Thats what the issue is for me
What about showing people how to clean the jet holes correctly. Spraying choke cleaner won't help.
Praise the sun!
Nothing beat some jolly cooperation
Wait, you know where your 10mm is?
Not all the time
Woulda been nice if you had shown how the needle valve goes in you completely didn't show that step and sometimes those things fall out when you are disassembling and it's not exactly super intuitive... Thanks for the video though not trying to be a troll
How does the bowl remove?
In order to remove the bowl you have to remove the fuel shut off solenoid and then it's a 14 mm socket
@RepairGang thanks. The one I'm working on is, of course different, used a 12mm wrench to take the solenoid off and then pulled by hand the bowl.
The location of the carburetor is totally in a different area than my mower. Location is different.
is it in the front
You ate sitting on the mower, it's on the right side. If I take the gas bulb off and let out some gas , will this be enough to help get it to turn over. It sounds like it wants to,but it won't start.
What is “Praise the Sun”. I’ve heard of praise the Lord but not the sun.
So the round bottom (with plug output) doesn't come off? Will spraying it get out whatever is stuck?
No it don't come out spraying. It will help
Oh great lol I've been turning it , trying to get it off. Did I damage it? I'm alone, no family or friends here. My x tries to help by phone but is 2 states away. I'm sure I could get another one and put it on myself if you think I damaged it by trying to unscrew it
And thank you for replying! Very kind of you!
