My 13 year old daughter had this as her ringtone on her phone and while she was going through chemo it would ring at the most interesting times. I was too old for this when it came out, I was aghast at what a douche Durst was, but checking them out now I hear they were pretty damn good and the lyrics are quite decent.
Some of the best years ever. Highschool, pre Sept 11, KoRn was at a high, Limp Bizkit, Deftones, Godsmack, Incubus... We were all pissed off at our parents but half of us didn't know why and most of us would grow up to realize we were stupid and they were right. No one knew who Linkin Park was but they would soon come to change tons to people that liked this type of music. Being a prep wasn't cool and the looser your clothes were the better. We barely knew what the internet was and Napster was getting us all threatened with jail time.

I was there. And I didn't even care about this band but it was still good time because I discovered everything else. In 1999, I was in high school. Napster started opening doors to music because all we had was the radio and CD's. Because of all this, Metallica tried to ban Napster (file sharing). It was too late because by then others started appearing and music was changed forever. I will say that this was still a time when record sales and record contracts were profitable. They were a hand made band, that I appreciate. Not pretentious.

Fred has been in my head for years, his music reflects many of my life choices and I think when artists have been through similar shit as yourself they put them feelings up there to tell anyone who has or is in a shit relationship that sucks.

duhmzdaih I’m a 90’s kid and I’ll admit that the 80’s is the best decade, BUT the guy made a good point when he said the 90’s was like 3 decades in one with multiple genres at their climax. For that one reason I prefer the 90’s.
Since I know about music, I have learned that Limp Bizkit were never respected and hated by real rock and metal fans, simply because they were one of the Nu Metal pillars but its damn fun to listen to this again, HEEEY A LIKE A CHUMP!

EarlyRise are an average band. Nothing exceptional or different in their sound, let's be honest. What really is shitty about them is the fact that since 2011, they've been using hundreds of fake profiles to promote themselves, with such copy-paste comments such as Abraham's. They've been spamming most of CZcams's highly viewed videos.
I saw them last week at a metal festival and everyone was going nuts including the "real metalheads"

Dam summer of 99. 29 now. 10 when this came out. I remember going to Sam Goody in the mall. My mom asked the clerk how much cussing was on the album. Clerk looked at me. Gave me a wink and said not too much he'll be ok. It was all good until I was blasting break stuff on my boom box muahhaha
