You need to consider what a preacher actually believes - not just whether his passion makes you feel like standing up and shouting sometimes. Following the wrong preacher because of his fiery style, is like marrying the wrong woman because you like her pretty face.

Jakes is a good cautionary tale of the dangers of listening to a man who is a "dynamic heretic". He has strange beliefs about the Trinity, and his seared conscience allows him to practice greed and an extravagant lifestyle, but he has a huge following because he seems like a dynamic preacher.
You need to consider what a preacher actually believes - not just whether his passion makes you feel like standing up and shouting sometimes.
Following the wrong preacher because of his fiery style, is like marrying the wrong woman because you like her pretty face.
