I have some of the Big Brush markers. They're really nice. I really like the brush and it lays down a lot of color and the ink is vivid. I do wish they were refillable though. but I'm sure creating refills for every color is quite an investment.

I've had these for almost 20 years and they are still going strong. I thought 2 of the greys ran dry, but nope. Stuck nib in near boiling water and bam like brand new.
Edit: maybe give yours a few minutes in some really hot water before you trash them. They might surprise you. Also, I store mine on their side because I don't use them but maybe one a month.

I think the color difference in the light turquoise can be due to how they are stored. Keep them horizontal for a few days and then test them again

These markers aren't alcohol ink they are india ink. They are so good on top of like gel medium or modpodge for shading in mixed media. they act like watercolor markers on normal paper meaning they are to wet and make the paper pills with overlap of ink

My favorite is Ice Blue. Love all of them. I'm slowly but surly collecting them. I've only got 14 right now. I love to use them as a base layer when I'm coloring.

They are great for that. And the lightfastness helps preserve the color underneath.

I have owned the 60 brush set for a while now. They also differ in color for the same marker. I discovered that because I bought some back ups open stock, but the colors were super different.
I always assumed it was because I bought my original set second hand, so you never know what happened to them or how they were stored. But if you have it too, maybe something else is going on? Maybe they revised some colors between sets? IDK.
All I know is that my marker/ink colors became a bit better after I stored them horizontally. Do you store them horizontally or vertically? (it could also be that they were transported vertically or something)

Do you have a video about organizing the regular 48 count crayola crayons box's in rainbow order? I saw the Mexican one but I don't know if it's the same

I so wish these worked on different kinds of paper but unfortunately my experience with them is that they are streaky and pill the paper unless you use sturdy watercolor paper. Even watercolor is more versatile than the pitt artist pens 😢
