X-Men Evolution? that show was my life but Season 5 got cancelled 😭 I remember when X-23 had knocked out all the X-Men one by one without a problem, and her origin was really sad since she didn't had a proper childhood but she was clearly one of my favorite characters in the series even tho she only appeared in 2 episodes ..... 3 if you count Charles Xavier's vision at the end of Season 4 when he saw all the X-Men grown up.
Yeah I watched that series, and I liked both episodes featuring X-23 quite a lot.
jorge class I was a big fan of Wolverine and the X-Men I just thought that that show touch that a lot more issues and I got to see Wolverine's leadership as more of a father figure solidifying Wolverine is my favorite mutant of all time the Unstoppable Berserker it's hard to say who I place first between Weapon X 2 3 or Wolverine I'll just have to say they're on par just in terms of favorite

@@fangirl4206 depends on which universe but in most the designation of X is given to only government super soldier programs, in some stories they make reference to Captain America as X-1. Super soldier programs get either put on the back burner or gets shelved till someone comes along and started the program back up under new leadership, new scientists and new experimental projects.
So James Hudson isn't an X-project, not sure about his son Dakken, haven't read those yet but I'm fairly sure he's a biological son and not a clone.

So sounds like X-23 is a better wolverine since her healing factor is faster and she has claws on her feet which can come in handy. Logan was really good guys go see it!

Laura is definitely one of my favourite Marvel characters and it’s really cool to see her grow and find her 'humanity' which is something she struggled with early on. She's just the best!

From how I understand it, it'd be extra hard to cut through since her healing factor is a little better than wolverine and if a limb is severed she'd probably regrow up to her claw and then retrieve the adamantium bits like Deadpool does with his limbs as depicted in Wolverine vs. Hulk.

I was thinking Shanin from the manga Angel Heart. but Damien certainly is the oldest character of this type I know of (there probably are even older ones, but I'm not too well versed in these types of characters)
The funny thing is that Superman has a legacy character like that too. The Kon-El Superboy was created as a government experiment that had the DNA of Superman and Lex Luthor.
Shanin was a natural born child misused as a child assassin later becoming the protege/pupil of the older hero with similar past. That Superboy, as far as I know has the same creation story, but I think he leaks the time as child assassin.
No Batmen expert, but as far as I know Damien is from a assassin family line (being at least partially abnormally born), did some child assassination, and later became the protege/pupil of the hero? he would certainly be most similar to Laura.

Kaefer1973 Damien is only technically older than the other brainwashed "killer kid" characters if we retroactively count the son of Bruce and Talia featured in Son of the Demon, Brotherhood of the Bat, and Kingdom Come which were all considered non-canon until Grant Morrison soft retconned him back in due to Grant's "everything is canon in some way or another" policy.
The modern Damien Wayne that we know didn't really exist until Grant Morrision wrote him in during the mid 2000's. In Son of the Demon the baby died in the womb. In Brotherhood of the Bat and Kingdom Come he doesn't start fighting evildoers until he is an adult.
Under that same logic I also argue that the Mr. Freeze we know was the invention by Paul Dini and Mike Mignola for Batman: The Animated Series. Though a character with the same look, name, and gimmick existed prior to then, he was not well defined and very different until Dini gave him a personality, motive, drive and backstory.
So how I look at it Cassandra Cain, X-23, and Hit-Girl all predate him. And it can be argued that these killer kid heroes were inspired by killer kid villains which date back even further.
Logan is the only movie I'll put on the same level as the The Dark Knight. Dark Knight had more philosophy but where Logan lacked in philosophy (which it had it's share of) it made up with emotion, comedy and action. It was a great movie!!

I guess only having adomantium claws instead of a whole skeleton during her youth can account for a realistic growth spurt in the Logan movie. I hope to see X-23 in the future

I think after anime became popular in the west, shipping became part of every fandom. Though it's not like I feel every character in anything needs a lover. There are plenty of characters that I don't ship with anyone.
Ethan Van Sciver (fucking god of an artist) created the idea of X - 23, in the late 90's way before her first appearance in the animated show, although marvel ended up firing him and just took his idea and changed it a little, His original version was the following, she would be the daughter of wolverine and her name would be Lynx, her code name would be X-32 and she would have 2 claws instead of 3, Marvel loved it and decided to change little things to ensure the character wasn't Ethan's creation.

That maybe true for fans among comic readers, but overall she's probably more popular due to the cartoon series. I don't usually read superhero comics but still remember X-Men evolution in general and the 2 episodes featuring X-23 in particular fondly, and I am quite sure that there are many others who are the same.
I loved X-23 as the new Wolverine. She not only kicked ass, the comic introduced us to Gabby/Honey Badger. I honestly would kill to read a Honey Badger/Deadpool story arc or limited series.

well.... she was grown in a facility and was actually given birth too. in the movies i think they go with the child because thats one of her quirks in the comics. everyone always makes a comment on how disturbing it is that this child was breed to be emotionless assassin.

Also, X-23 is more like 10-23. Wolverine is Weapon-X, or Weapon-10, the 10th weapon of the facility. It's weird.
Can we get a top ten or five or seven or what ever number is possible list of all the comic book characters who didn't originate in comics? I only know of Harley, Batman Beyond, X-23 and Diggle at the current moment...

X-23 is my most favorite xman! out of all they characters ive known or heard of, shes #1 on my list. ive been in ❤❤❤❤ with her since i saw her on xmen evolution when i was dafnes keens age. and ive spent all these years growing up, ive been reading her is comics! i wish i was an xman in the comics. id fit right in! she can be my girlfriend too. she and i would be a great couple. ypu know the character named Armor? well her powers can be mine instead. Yeah... her origin is a bit weak tbh but I like the character. I don't like that they made her the new Wolverine. Wolverine isn't some kind of symbol, like Captain America for example, so that somebody should carry the mantle. He's just a guy. X-23 should be her own thing, not exist in the shadow of someone else.
I hope new actor that will play wolverine will be short, ripped and will look savage... srsly make wolverine short again

Winston P her character is kind of shy and antisocial so she hasn't had very many romantic relationships. she had a Cush on a xmen named hellion for a while but she was to shy to ask him out. Currently she's dating angel right now.
She was a prostitute for the beginning of NYX because of her lack of self worth and being stuck in new york so at the age of at least 14 she had sex with a few adults, she and hyperion sorta dated but she realized that she didnt love him and she has been most recently dating time displaced angel
