  • Rio de Janeiro is a city with the largest number of people living in favelas having 1.393.314 inhabitants. That's 22% of the total population in the city.
    Known for it's violence, gang members and corruption there's also another side to this area. This dense population faces problems like the need for basic services and poor infrastructure but has a unique and creative way to fight the lower quality of life.
    I'm going to visit Rocinha the biggest Favela in Rio de Janeiro taking a look at how people really live here.
