The editing on this is, as always, on point. As someone who never has had the chance to try out GLC, I really appreciate all the explanations of the cards!
I love this kind of editing. Makes the table top games way more engaging and easy to keep track of.
I've stopped playing the TCG and just gone completely to collecting personally because there are so many complicated rules and set ups now. Radiant Pokemon, V Star, V Union, Lost Zone, etc., it's just gotten to be too much to keep track of. If you aren't basically going through your entire deck within the first few turns, you're way behind. Games can be decided within the first few turns of the game, and there ALWAYS seems to be only 2-3 decks everyone uses. It all feels complicated and same-y.
However, GLC is AMAZING for someone like me. This FEELS like PTCG at its core without all of the gimmicks. You get to actually use some cards you'd never look at otherwise, there aren't any insane 200+ HP Pokemon that can one-shot everything immediately, etc. THIS is what the PTCG is supposed to be in my mind, it's absolutely amazing. The variety and ease of understanding makes this way more beginner friendly than the actual PTCG too.
My dream is for PTCGO or L to have a GLC mode

Really enjoyed this video. On the normal TCGO videos it’s fun watching you play and talk about your strategy for the video. What would be great and what I got to see a little is the other player let us know their plan. Getting to see the other player in this video run some good plays on you was something pretty enjoyable. Been doing nothing the last few months but playing and building glc decks. 5 in paper, 3 online. Got the wife playing multiple times a week. It's awesome. And now I only want to see new sets non rule box pokes lol

i don't know why but i like to watch the real life matches rather than your online matches. big fan of the gym leader challenge format. ive played commander since 2010 and started hearing about glc last year when i started playing pokemon again. i think i was really lucky because last year was literally when i started playing pokemon but was thrown off by standard. heard about gym leader challenge online but local players weren't super familiar with until early this year. so glad this was created. makes the game more enjoyable to play also you get to play with cards you wouldn't normally touch. i made a water deck and never saw this version of the kingdra annnnd i like it!!! definitely a good one. keep making the videos. i have a feeling this is a new commander and you said it yourself in an interview that pokemon is definitely interested in making a thing themselves. hopefully draft will be a thing :) one can hope.

What a crazy end to that second game! Top-decking vs seeker was clutch both times. Seething Currents seems quite strong as well, especially with the delinquent combo.

Im very glad with how my glc fighting deck thurned out. Of course it has Palossand and even Steelix as the big attackers, but my personal twist is getting Crabominable out with a water energy to do even more damage

I thought for GLC you could only use basic energy only.
Nope you can play special energy but you are limited to one copy of each in your deck. Basic energy is the only thing that isn’t limited to the “singleton” rule
