Thanks for showing the shopping trip too. I couldn't find the mounting block at HD until I saw you getting it at the store. Saved me lots of time!
Awesome! Glad it helped out!!! Thanks for watching and commenting!!
By chance do you know what it's called or a part of product number I can search at HD?
I have two sets of these solla lights and they are the best. Very good with recharging and they detect real quick. A1 in my book
Agreed!!! Thanks for watching!!!
Oh look how cool the connection are!!!😮
Good connections are Key! 😉
That turned out great 👍 fantastic work
And finally…… THANK YOU!!!
Looks awesome!! Great job!!
Thanks!!! Let there be light!!!
The light looks great...... it shows all of the installation defects in your siding installation though. LOL WOOPS !!
Dude there is so many things wrong with that siding! That side in particular has a wave or bow that it insane!!! Thanks for noticing! Hahaha!
I installed the exact unit. The thing I am disappoint in is that the unit must be on all the time for it to work with any changes in the settings. I read about this after it was too late. Second when the power is turned off it goes back to the original settings. At least for my original setting the unit does not include motion detection. Don K
Are you saying you connect to a switched power line? I have mine directly hardwired and have no issues. I can see if you have this connected to a light switch and turn off the switch it would loose its memory and default to factory settings. I don’t believe this light is intended to be connected to a switch and intended to be fully hardwired. Hope I understood you correctly. Thanks for commenting.
Mine has remote so not an issue
How long were the screws that you used to mount the block to the wall?
Not too long. I don’t remember exactly but you don’t need anything too long. Just silicone it up and you should be good!
Does the silicone seal it on? I’m putting a security camera up and I have to use a block since it’s vinyl.
@@dhazen4 yup. Water travels down so make sure you seal the top side, sides and anywhere water can get into…. Like screws.
@@TheCrawlspaceCraftsman gotcha that makes sense for the screws. Thanks man
I added driving b roll so I can be cool like you
Gotta have that cool B roll!!! 😇
Do you have a product name, or part number for that mounting plate?
I can't find it online and my closet Home Depot is over 90 miles away.
A link would be excellent, but just a part number or name would be helpful. Thanks.
Try this!!!

That link will point you in the right direction!!! Hope it helps and if ya need anything else… lemme know!
@@TheCrawlspaceCraftsman thank you!
What kind of mounting plate was that
Bought it at Home Depot. Was in the back by the vinyl siding. Only cost a few dollars. It’s made for this type of lighting. Thanks for watching!
how are the lights holding up after posting this video?
Amazing honestly!!! It’s bright as hell and turns on for me every time I get close! I highly recommend!!! Thanks for watching!
No junction box? Code violation.
🫣
@@TheCrawlspaceCraftsman Is this true? If so, I guess a thin metal extension junction box would solve that.
Very disappointed
Said not me. Super easy to install and Extremely Bright. Why are you disappointed.
vinyl siding is so gross lol
Oppose to what exactly? Brick, Stucko, Wood, Cobble, straw? 🤔
@KalindsLife wood. Brick. Stucko. Cobble. pretty much anything
