This is the most amazing example of a human being I have ever seen in my life. I am encouraged to do more, learn more, and be grateful for more. I wish I could send her money to buy more supplies.
High schoolers in the west should see this in schools and then discuss! How many of them could get off their cell phones to even make ONE of these items, and how many of them would know how to use all her power tools safely? Western kids are completely lacking in such skills. Of course, in the USA you'd need a plumber and electrician to do all this for you to make sure it is all licensed work. This reminds me of what pioneers might have done out west in the US in the 1870s. Building cabins for themselves, insulating them, installing running water with a pump in the kitchen, cooking in the fireplace or on a woodstove, using candles or kerosene lanterns for lighting, chopping wood to keep you warm all winter, planting, harvesting, a million things to do from dawn to dusk, never ending labor. Kids were taught to be industrious and independent as early as possible.

I can't even mow my own yard without getting a stiff back and pains. But then yet I'm getting older, and it's too much for me to handle. And she does all this without any help. That is a highly skilled and extraordinarily talented young woman. She doesn't just plan spaces -- first she builds them, then she plasters, paints, frames windows, hangs ceilings, lays flooring, builds furniture, hangs blinds and curtains, makes lamps AND lampshades, and paints her own art work. And she can sew and embroider, too. When she needed a work room and a work bench,she built her own. She restored the garden, built a gazebo, and built her own sinks. I'll bet she ran the electrical wiring and the plumbing, too!
She is very talented and intelligent. I watched her in total amazement. And at one point I teared up as it hit me that this was truly a labor of love for her grandmother. It's interesting to see how her culture still respects and takes care of their elderly families. While here in America many are shoved aside, disrespected, forgotten, and put in nursing homes. We could certainly learn something from this. Her grandmother is very lucky to have such a talented grand daughter who loves her so much.

At first, I thought, "This woman is the most amazing person in the entire world! Why has not someone snatched her up and made her a billionaire?" Then, I realized there were 2 young woman, and they did have occasional helpers. This didn't stop my awe at the sheer talent of these 2 women (especially the free hand artistry she framed for her walls!), each room expanded my admiration. Sheer hard work and great ideas helped take this from a well worn old farm house to a very elegant and beautiful home for the 2 women.

I’ve watched this twice now, and today with my Okinawan neighbor. We are both very impressed with her skills. She learned these skills from somewhere and I did see she had a satellite nearby. It’s amazing what people can accomplish when they truly desire to do so. We also appreciated her modest feminine ways and garments. Does anyone know how long it took to film this. I’ve watched this twice now, and today with my Okinawan neighbor. We are both very impressed with her skills. She learned these skills from somewhere and I did see she had a satellite nearby. It’s amazing what people can accomplish when they truly desire to do so. We also appreciated her modest feminine ways and garments. Does anyone know how long it took to film this. I’m suspecting over a year and a half by the dogs grooming and her hair growth. Thanks for this beautiful video. From China.
