A villain song is any song sung by the antagonist. That's all you need. And since the infected are all the antagonist and only infected (and Prof Hidgens and Emma once) sing, then almost all of TGWDLM's count.
What makes Inevitable powerful as a villain song is that it's the closing song. There's nothing left except for Emma to get infected. It truly is a "Villain Wins" song

Just realized that Stutter and The Golden Rule (Evil Reprise) have the same choreagraphy bit with the main singer and the backup dancers behind them-complete with the same actor singing it.
Caulk Your Wagon may have been absolutely strange and odd, but that musical also had a horny ox, a song about dysentery, and Joey Richter plays pretty much every role, so that musical is the pinnacle of genius and chaos.

@@matttmcswiggen7996 I see why you would think that and your opinion is 100% valid and I don't think every single SK song is really that good either
I (and some others too) DO _genuinely_ like Different As Can Be (and also Voldemort Is Going Down) and that's cool too
This comment thread was like a warzone and I just wanted to spread some wholesomeness okay yeah
This video gave the fun perspective that literally every song in tgwdlm is technically a villain song
Steves a comin'
What was the criteria for being a “villain” song since that seems to include all of the songs in TGWDLM
But looking at it, the infected are all the villains of tgwdlm so any song they sing is technically a villain song which means basically the whole musical will be in it because they're almost all sung by the infected
A villain song is any song sung by the antagonist. That's all you need. And since the infected are all the antagonist and only infected (and Prof Hidgens and Emma once) sing, then almost all of TGWDLM's count.
Spectre Dan I’d argue that SSN counts too, since he’s singing to get them all killed
kick it up a notch is the best song of starkid
fight me
so wait, no No One Remembers Achmed, I Steal Everything, Take Off Your Clothes, Show Stoppin Number, or The Night Belongs to Snarl?
John Villarose VI is the night belongs to snarl a villain song? bc i feel likes it’s more a villain INTRO than anything.
@@alic2923 I can see that, and I was a little hesitant to include it, but Snarl never gets his own song :(
I don’t think SSN counts because it was before Hidgens became infected, so he wasn’t a villain at the time? Idk though
@@mayj0lly I'd argue he was already a villain. I mean, he literally had Emma and Ted tied up during the song
Lol aladdin is a villian
Kick It Up a Notch has to be the best villian song!!!
Update: It is!
Jaime forgetting the choreography for a split second at 1:36 is so relatable.
When I first watched Starship, I didn't really pay attention to Pincer singing Kick it up a Notch. But now I look back at it and it's really good
I came for Junior and was pleasantly satisfied with Pincer at his rightful place of recognition
What makes Inevitable powerful as a villain song is that it's the closing song. There's nothing left except for Emma to get infected. It truly is a "Villain Wins" song
Kick it up a notch is so good! Both versions are good.
And Stutter by Joe Walker is always funny as frick
Rogues Medley will always be the #1 villain song but also this list is *EVERYTHING*
“YEAH I’M SMOKING POT” will forever
be one of my fav villain lines
I always forget that Corey sang Big Ts Temptation 😂 😂 😂 probably his best singing that I've seen though. He doesn't really get the opportunity to show off that much
Trend I noticed: minor villains and henchpeople dramatically caressing whoever’s doing the solo at the time
Jeff Blim’s hair In AVPSY is so weird to see but still amazing
incorrect. you forgot one
3. let it out
2. kick it up a notch
1. boy toy
really solid top five
You didn’t remember Achmed........ ironic
ITS BEEN 6 MONTHS NOW AND I STILL GET CHILLS FROM "GIVE US ONE LAST SHOW STOPPING NUMBER"
I know that in Twisted we are supposed to see their version of the story where they are not villains, but I still thinck Twisted (the song) should be here
Great list tho
Also, where's "I steal everything" "Orphan at 33" and all the Aladdin songs
I’m so Proud that Let it Out is 2nd. It’s probably my favorite starkid song ever.
I clicked on this video with the notion that all of TGWDLM was in here
where is no one remembers achmed thoooooooooo
I guess no one remembers achmed
Just realized that Stutter and The Golden Rule (Evil Reprise) have the same choreagraphy bit with the main singer and the backup dancers behind them-complete with the same actor singing it.
Caulk Your Wagon may have been absolutely strange and odd, but that musical also had a horny ox, a song about dysentery, and Joey Richter plays pretty much every role, so that musical is the pinnacle of genius and chaos.
Love when Starship gets some recognition. Kick It Up A Notch is 100% their best villain song!
