2K19 is my favorite because it feels so real when I'm playing it. I really enjoyed the realism when you or your opponent is down crawling to the ropes to get up and the corner and countering which we have nowadays grown accustomed to. Also the gameplay is so solid I just really love it. Great video "Assembleâ
Same wwe 2k19 is the best
WWE 2K19 is arguably the best game 2K has ever made. It really does feel like a wrestling game with an absolutely enormous roster. Sure, 2K could've added some new stuff such as an updated version of Dean Ambrose when he was still working with the WWE, or have an updated Undisputed Era entrance when they brought Roderick Strong into the group, but that's not the main takeaway. And given how 2K20 became absolutely garbage and unplayable since the day it released, 2K19 made me appreciate the hard work 2K and Yukes put in to please the fans
It will be time say goodbye to this game since the servers will be shutting down soon once 2K22 released
2k19 is a really good game but I've been playing it since the deluxe edition released and I really really need a new wrestling game to play

I've been playing it since release. It's really good. If 2K22 doesn't surpass 2K19 in every way, I'm sticking to 2K19.
Recently redownloaded 2k19 because I kept seeing amazing caws on that game online, and I was getting tired of 2k20 crashing all the time and taking forever to load matches.. my catalog just now after a few days Iâd say looks absolutely amazing, the detail, I donât download a caw unless itâs completely accurate and Iâm so glad I found these caws
The caws are awesome dusty. Same as you Iâve gone back to replay it and man so many of the customs are awesome . And so much of the roster I can make a full AEW show lol
I still play wwe 13 and love it. The reason I kept my ps3
2K19 is good, but something about it keeps me from really getting into it. I love.making wrestlers and 19 really let me run wild with their creation, but actually playing it is just okay. Truth be told, the creative options are far more limited, but 2K14 is more fun to me to actually play.
i know a lot of people keep talking about how great SmackDown vs Raw and the previous games was, and yes, i have such great memories of this games, but, honestly wwe2k19 was the best wwe game i've ever played.

i love 2k19. i still played it years after it came out. it wasnt even the bugs that made me hate 20 it was the fact the animations were sooo slow it was terrible and so unfun.

I am late to this video but I am so happy after 2k15, 2k16 (second best 2k owned game), 2k17, and 2k18 all not being an AWESOME game while me not knowing 2k19 was awesome i got it on a deal and it was so worth it
The Daniel Bryan showcase mode was boring to me. I liked the menu but I hated the white color background. I donât know who thought of that idea.
I still play 2K19 religiously! When I saw how buggy 2K20 was, I didn't even waste my money on it. I'm hoping that 2K22 makes up for the glitchfest 2K20 was, and I feel so sorry for everyone who wasted their money on 2K20. I'm still a little iffy on how the controls for 2K22 will be, so I hope they're as easy to master as I've heard they will be. I can still play 2K19 and not get bored with it.

The slots thing is a quirk of Yuke's engine. Yuke's Bryan Williams confirmed during a 7 part interview with Everything Pro Wrestling last year. If they change one move, it has to be a new slot. I think the example he used was Daniel Bryan for showcase. If the moves are the same, different outfits can share the same slot. As of 2K20 it looks like Visual Concepts hasn't found a way around it, if they even tried. It looks bad to see 3 DDPs, 5 HHH's, 3 Underakers, 3 Ric Flairs with numbers after the name like Ric Fair '91, but it's the best they can do until they find a work around or ditch the engine all together. My hope is that they're using Yuke's old engine for now, but they simultaneously have another team working on something new for a solid debut on the next gen for the next game after WWE 2K22. I wonder how Virtual Basement is going to do using Unreal 4 for The Wrestling Code.
I still play wwe 2k19 it has good legends just not enough but at least i can download my favorite legends
I use 2k19 for my channel, prefer this one over 2k20. Let's hope 2k22 outperforms both.
The game definitely leaves alot to the imagination...story telling ability like promos & cut scenes were terrible honestly lol. But the Gameplay is very fun and mods are amazing to watch

Iâm still playing 2k19 and Iâm fine with 2k22 being further postponed so I have more time to progress through my Universe and cycle some guys in and out before I have to lock down my final 100. Too much waiting is going to leave a bad taste in some peoplesâ mouths but Iâm patient. I want a good game, however long it takes.

I've brought wwe2k23 PS4 played it with my mates yesterday. me and my mate's didn't enjoy it so we gonna stick with wwe2k19
Not to mention that what ever happened on any show the universe mode would put it in it's story line and if you use a caw, and spell the name of the wrestler right 2k19 will put it in as the real wrestler!
its honestly a bit annoying when people say "from 2k" 2k isn't a studio or developer. don't mislead people.
*Yuke's Co* was the developer of many games up to 2k19. were no longer the developer for 2k20.
*Visual Concepts* developed 2k20 and that is the reason it is as bad as it was...
if people payed attention to things like this in general they would know to be cautious when untested developers take on projects they have no experience in...there never was a chance it would be as good as prior games...
Had to replay this game again, got tired of 2K20 not downloading my creation stuff, crashes, logos disappearing .
As a WWF No Mercy die-hard, WWE 2K 19 was still too slow for right now. People sometimes forget is that AKI went on to make Def Jam and Ultmate Muscle games on their engine which played much faster than their N64 counterparts. The back cover of AKI's Galactic Wrestling for PS2 in 2004 has a quote from Gamespy saying, "...faster than Def Jam Vendetta," which was pretty fast in its own right. 2004 is same year they released Def Jam Fight for New, which was no slouch in speed department, eith. I think HCTP was a nice sweet spot for speed for what Visual Concepts might be going for.
I know Visual Concepts and Yuke's hear a lot of feedback from people saying they want No Mercy and people who haven't grown up with the AKI 64 games probably research it and just see slow gameplay and a ton of handicap matches in story mode, but what I think people are really asking for are fun mechanics, intuitive controls, and replayability. The APA and Vader & Road Warrior Animal can come along for the ride (as they did in 2K16 and WWE '12), but they can leave their parking lot jumpings and raggedy-ass framerates in the past.

The PC modding community has made 2k19 amazing, if you have a pc and arenât modding this game you are missing out and withthe tools provided by the community itâs super easy to mod, anybody can do it. I have over 400 or 500 wrestlers on my roster (and I pretty much only have legends still installed from the roster that the game came with), basically anybody from the Monday night Wars, 80âs wrestlers, AEW roster, over like 40 arenas (thereâs a mod that adds all arenas from 2k15-2k18 to the game) , + the entrance themes of all those wrestlers. I was even able to change the startup screens, intro video and main menu screen to a Monday night wars theme. That is the main thing for me that made me never want to touch 2k20 as they basically made it unmoddable. I donât understand that logic, they would probably get more sales, the modding is the whole entire reason I got 2k19

2k19 was an emotion still i rate 2k19 above than 2k22, it has a brilliant roster, day night evening arena feature, giant backstage brawl, better showcase mode, omg moments, various versions of taker, angle, triple h, wyatt family, Orton and Daniel Bryan, also the universe mode was epic

Late to the party on this one, but is it worth getting 2k19 if you have 2k18? Recently got back into playing it but obviously the servers got sunset a while back, so can't download other players CAWs.
Also, is the advanced entrance customisation more accessible than 2k18's? I get REAL confused using that thing. I legit have NO idea what I'm doing in those menus đ

WWE 2K19 was Yuke's swan song with WWE like No Mercy was AKI's to the WWF. No Mercy's gameplay is still way better in everyway, it's more fun, in my opinion, to have matches and it just feels better, but both we're going all out to the best of their ability saying goodbye to those fans.
Yuke's got it right when they made smackdown vs raw 07 and wwe 12 but THQ made the best wrestling games from 1991-2012
@@sikwitit773 Yea True THQ is the publisher and making a collaborative effort between publisher and developer. IMO THQ didn't publish any good wrestling games until they hired AKI to make their WCW games, particularly when they hit the N64. Smackdown's, which came later when they hired Yuke's to make PlayStation games were alright but to me they was always one step forward and two steps back while AKI was full steam ahead getting better and better with each effort from WCW vs. nWo: World Tour to WCW/nWo Revenge to WWF Wrestlemania 2000 to Virtual Pro Wrestling 2 to WWF No Mercy the eventually the Def Jam and Ultimate Muscle games. I'm glad the director from those games Hideyuki Iwashita aka Geta-san is working for Yuke's now on the AEW game because he can steer them in the right direction.
Yuke's would get to a good place like SVR 06/07 then they'd hop on a fighting game trend and move their grapples to the joystick buttons. AKI didn't follow trends the kept it simple optimizing the controls instead of doing huge overhauls every couple years and they set the the trends. Before AKI wrestling games were like Wrestlemania the Arcade Game and War Zone afterward everyone wanted directional grapples, counters on the bumper buttons and simulation style.
@@sikwitit773 Also I think Yuke's slowed their games down too much and over gameifyed things with mini games, had you sitting through long animations at times like OMG moments instead of manually doing it yourself, relied on stuff like tags for double team moves and used way too much HUD. Even when the switched to the rings around your feet for signatures and specials, they still had the huge-as body damage HUD. But they had their moments.
WWE '12 was solid step forward but the big changes to features like Universe Mode and Stables... they then stayed the same for years. I get 9 month cycles and stuff but AKI was added things like CAW mode when it wasn't even planned and they developed Def Jam Vendetta in 8 months.

I don't know if you read the comments, but I have a couple questions about the game.
Why is it hard to get now? It is not listed on Steam Store, the CD-Keys are expensive as hell (600-700PLN where the new 2K22 game is ~250PLN), the game is only available in used state for console via eBay or alternatives and I'm not really sure if the disk will be the only thing needed to play the game (since the market changed so much- the last console WWE game for me was '12, so yeah...).
Is the game dead after 2K22's release or is there an online playerbase?
How are the creative modes comparted to 2K22? I heard that 2K22 is missing some features, but I wonder if the gameplay in the new game is THAT good to outweight the cons of missing creative features from the '19 version for a player like me who likes to create 30 custom superstars and watch them Royal Rumble with only AI in the game.

Wwe2k22 won't be any different,yes there will be slight updates,but they just wanna make money, WWE is all about MONEY,it's about how they can reach all types of audiences,all ages which makes money,WWE isn't wrestling anymore,It's just entertainment,with in 5 years WWE will announce that it's no more a Wrestling company.

Couple things 1. Wwe2k22 does NOT have a shrinking roster 2k has a cut off date of when they no longer can remove stars from the game example if the cut off date is march 20th 2021 and wwe lets flair go in june 2021 then flair will STILL be in the game!!!! Unless wwe or 2k requests that star to be taken out im so sick of you tubers talking and talking over things they have noooooo idea bout
My friends and I actually just started playing 2K19 because we wanted to get back into playing a wrestling game and heard how awful 2K20 was. We have a pretty fun time with Universe mode but haven't touched the other modes in the game like showcase mode which I wouldn't play anyways because I always hated the yes movement and the bullshit that happened at Wrestlmania 30. Daniel Bryan was always better to me as a heel! NO! NO!! NO!!!

DONT BUY 2K19 IN 2022!!!! Unless you DONT want the DLC or HALF of the COMMUNITY CREATIONS!!! I've completely wasted my money buy this game thinking all of the stuff was on the stores because the game is only a few years old, but NOPE. 2k always gotta 2k, my advise is go out and find a ps2 and HCTP and you will have a much better time, and it will be much more worth the effort.

I think he deserived it correctly. It was more a clean up job. They tightened what worked and kept the controls the same. The only way it was like No Mercy is that was a developer's last game for the WWE.
Except it's the best wrestling game that can be played on current hardware with most of its features still active. So it would be kind of hard to overrate it.
