Since the march update we now have the option to change difficulty, in today's video we take a deeper look into the 3 of them !!

Generation Zero. Welcome to 1980's Sweden. The local population has disappeared, and hostile machines roam the streets fight off the hostile machines solo or with a team, scavenge for weapons and loot in the fight to survive and find out what or who caused all of this.

The rating in the binoculars don’t give me a good feeling on how hard it is to take out a tank. This gives me a better feel on how the difficulty rating works.

Truthfully, there is a bug I think rn that sometimes doesn’t let you run but it’s fixable by jumping or crouching but sometimes it requires leaving the game
Hopefully the August uodate will fix that mate!!!
That used to happen me all the time and I thought it was my ps4 controller because I dropped it like 100 times but luckily I havent really been getting that problem recently
Theres alot of new players. Most dont realise they have to store goods (wood/textilrs/ect) in the dismantling (blue) bench.
Luckily I realized that when I first sighted & used the recycling bench..... However I also realized NOT everything can be stored
I started on Guerilla because I thought bunching up on Skirmish might be a bad idea. After spending the lot of my time on "tactical" retreat, I switched to Adventure. Only now that I've enabled Vanguard, the Hunters seem to have Experimental PVGs! Anyone else noticed Automatic Difficulty Scaling even though it's Turned Off? Guess I should have taken a hint when the scout doggos started shooting Rockets! 🤷♂️

so i have been playing for about a week now. i have a question that i may have just answered myself.
in the skill tree, does visibility reduction effect how they track you? i assumed it referred to the initial agro only. now watching you play, the tanks seem to have a hard time aiming in your direction. when i am playing, the tanks are able to almost predict where i am going to be. even on a bike going 30k in one direction the tank can track me with its attacks.
when i strafe to the side, the rockets do not land where i was. they always track in flight towards me.
I think thats due to the april update making it much harder. Cause they do the same to me now bud its difficult man best way is to try and blast them with emp then take out the weapons!
@@WIREDGAMING alright thanks for the info. after looking around a little, they did make a lot of changes in april. as much as i hate to do it, i will lower the difficulty down to skirmish. even with the ex ag4 i got last night. the game is still too punishing. it is going from fun challenge to tiring exorcise.

Good video but maybe you should have done few fights on each difficulty level to show more of average, the first and second were clearly harder because there were other machines butting in and they counterattacked immediately, while you could start sniping the third in peace from much longer range and even the ticks couldn't reach you before you could counter them.
I started playing after the update and was wondering why I keep having so much ammo left after fights, then I realized the difficulty was at easy level. So I changed it to hardest, that soon proved to be a mistake. Still, the true difficulty of a fight depends only on whether you decide to be an idiot and run too close to an enemy who has noticed you and how the AI reacts any given time; if the tank decides to stand still and not shoot back you will have much easier time than when it knows where you are after you respawn at a safehouse and will start shooting the microsecond you come out of cover. Well, those and RNG deciding there are dozen other machines that come join the fight.
As for loot, there doesn't seem to be much difference between difficulty levels but Apocalypse machines still give worse loot than others.
Yeah i didnt think of that would been a bit more consistent. Oh mate the hardest difficulty is mental its good when you want to challenge yourself though
I got a 5 crown semi auto shotgun from a tank on the last difficulty
This game is fun but it can be so much more with repeatable escalating missions. More rewards for exploration random experimental with a low chance of finding.
I know it doesn't have fallout money but there is something here like dying light just needs more

So, what was your overall verdict? It looked like the Skirmish mode was the hardest. But you did have to take on 2 at some point in the hanger. But it seemed like it took more bullets. Guerrilla did appear to provide more loot than the other two modes. IDK, it seems like your tests weren't really equal - you took on the fights in 3 different environments.
I think the difficulty really only changes how hard they hit but hopefully in the next update that will change. Theres definitely more loot from enemies on guerrilla difficulty!!
Yeah honeslty i agree once the next update comes im going to try and replicate each difficulty
What difficulty u would recomend for coop first play.i love challange but not if it os tedious

Very nice comparison, ty very much, helps a lot, and now we can see how suicide is to play ALONE with harder difficult at least at this point of the game, but it would be much better if he had found one again to kill, the others and the hunter spoiled the comparison a bit.

You had fnix class tanks at the airbase at skirmish mode and i had apocalypse tanks there at adventure mode!

did they fix the horrid difficulty they introduced in last years combat revamp?
remember playing with a friend and we had our asses handed to us... and no way to really outsmart the AI, like trying to go for an ambush, as the bots when agroed would just randomly attack the guy in hiding(not been spotted) etc.
Yeah man they fixed that a while back, oh i know the feeling mate it was a rough time 😂
Why do people not notice they have too much weight and that's why they cant move is beyond me are they new to gaming it's a very common mechanic and the game clearly tells u

@WIRED GAMING I have the problem with the weight too but only on my second character I checked the weight and the character only carrys a weight of 12. Luckily I only have the issue on my second which I dont use very much
You probably have to get your level up and put some points into the carry skills to get your weight up on your second character mate
iv gotten stuck in Viktorp Homestead twice back to back. once in the crate in the front yard and again on the wood planks baring the door to the house. I had to fast travel to the bunker to get unstuck. is there a unstuck command in the game. Do i have to type /valvenhaghen or something. i think the game is set in france or some shit.
Oh that's no good mate as far as i know there isn't a command you just have to fast travel out of it
Just use the unstuck materials haha , grenade launcher haha.

The carry weight system is completely different on Xbox then it is on PC. On Xbox, if you reach weight 64. You lose sprinting and if you reach weight 80. You can't move. That's without the backpack upgrade under survival tree
If you upgrade your carry capacity you should be able to carry a lot more bud

So do more enemies spawn depending on the difficulty. Like are there more being spawned in skirmish than adventure.
No the spawns are the same they just get more aggressive and are smarter

hey, was there a new update in May? dono if it's a bug but the missiles when they are firing are like 100 times the speed, don't know what's going on, even my rocket launcher is the same, I can't survive for 2 seconds, just wondering if anyone knows anything 🙂
I found out It is a bug 🐛
Hopefully the may update fixes the enemy aggressiveness a little
there is a really annoying bug i think it is related to bikes but when you switch weapons it will disable run and pressing the sprint again wont work

I was checking that weight and you start out with 48 max weight and if u go to 64 u can't move at all then i found out out if u have carry cap. each level gives the player 16 to max weight up to 80 and if u hit 96 after that u can't move i did test that out and that is what i saw. In my play through i was on Adventure i had to take on 4 Fnix class tanks, 4 Fnix class hunter and at least 15 fnix class runners and died 2 times not fun at all that was in one area.
Yeah, i found the almost the same bud at least it was on adventure when you found then guerilla would of been a lot kpre deaths 😂

How did you get those Gold weapons Also Can we find some experimental weapons ?
Mainly from machines bud, experimentals you get from rivals

No it's not that bad just dont try to take on the bigger machines unless you've got enough ammo and meds

I dont understand why you didnt use your hand Gun for the ticks instead of wasting so much of your primary ammo.
Im a day 1 player so i have 10000s of rounds for most weapons in my mule characters

The weight was not the issue. It was a bug.
Well sometimes i got stuck and won't let my walk .but a little help from my little rocket does the job.
And i notice sometimes i cant run unless a stand and crouch some times haha . hope it helps.
I mean sure the weight update is a realistic feature... But how tf you manage to carry less than 75 kg
Ammo seems to be my biggest weight gain so i only take 500-1000 at a time and leave the rest in storage

Of course it obvious there's a weight limit duh but this game really is broken I can't run most of the time it stupid

Check your ammo and supply numbers, don't just pick up everything from every corpse, container and wrecked robot you come across as I did my first playthrough.
Find what kit suits your playstyle and discard everything else. Store any unused nice to haves of only the highest level you have found and a bit of surplus ammo.
And be happy the guns, radio and AT mines doesn't have their IRL weights...
The GRG is 12kg, an AG4 is 4.5 kg with a 20 round mag loaded, the AT mines are 11kg a piece, and the radio is also 12kg with a single battery pack.
