I agree Madhavan's attitude was very bad. the fact is him knowingly marrying a woman who he knows that is not suitable for his family is also evident and simply tries to use cultural norms to justify his toxic manipulative action.
Men have double standards. Wife has to give in and share everything with his family and not think about her. Movies like this promotes such narrow mindedness

I watched this movie recently and honestly speaking I personally experienced depression and sadness after watching this film. Madhavan's attitude is so toxic and just simply could not bear watching this film.
