Not often that chilling tales for dark nights makes me cry. I lost my sister recently and this touched my heart. My niece is only four years old and is learning how to grieve without her mommy.

@@pastelwaves2344 god bless no need to worry with age and a full life I think that fear fades knowing that it’s inevitable makes it easier to deal with the lord says who adds a second to their lives by worrying! We really just take away from our time here with loved ones if we worry too much plus there’s no way that human came about as accidents we were definitely created! It’s not possible for life to form like it’s has by chance so I take comfort in knowing there’s is so much more after this life things we couldn’t comprehend and I know it seems far fetched but if u try to calculate us being here by chance and how rare we are and the way things work then it’s not so far fetched anymore . I really like how all your stories end. It's easy to begin a scary story but it is not easy to end it well. You seem to be pretty good at that.
Great story and somehow it being predictable at some points was actually a positive point..

I have no idea why her father was in jail..even if was cold blood murder...he did love his daughter soo..that so sad!
Honestly I'm not usually the one to have things go over my head but uh. Her father was sucking the life out of her somehow? Maybe I missed a detail that'll tie it together?
He was dead and as a ghost and he missed her so he kept meeting her which as something unnatural is implied to have taken a bad affect on her turning her to something more suitable for his world and turning her to a ghost also so in the end he had to give up on meeting her and wander away from her alone and lost in between worlds as to save her

shadydragon22 wait. Then how did the grandparents get his letter to Corey? And yeah, the prison system would alert the family. I think he was astral projecting.
@@phantomcommenter4321 I agree. Or he had some kind of weird supernatural power where he could disappear or travel between realms or something.They did talk about how they worried about her because she started disappearing like he used to as a kid
I thought the plot twist was that the father was a kkk member in the beginning ahah. Anyways great story!
