Amen and agreed .... don't let any cop tell you otherwise.
In 2005 the Supreme Court ruled that police do not have CONSTITUTIONAL DUTY to protect a person from harm, even a woman who obtained court-issued protective orders.
Funny how they use Constitution to get out of a duty yet try to remove our Constiutional right to self-defense.
Whose agenda would it be to deprive a Free Persons right to life? by removing their means of self defense.
      A= a Tyrannical Govt

@@braydenschrock3397 I understand Police are not our private security force.
They have a lot to answer for when involved in an on duty altercation with their firearm and must follow an outlined protocol.
Actually most of my friends are Police officers, everything from Deputys to Swat.
Every one of them would protect a citizen. BUT they do agree it is an individual choice and not their duty.
Because yes their primary job is not so much a public servant but law enforcement. The
(To Serve and Protect) on the side of their car is very misleading.
There is no law stating an officer must protect an individual.
The only reason they carry a firearm is for their own personal protection. Not public protection.
Not to mention the fact they are bound by a contract with the State (hint) and much to answer for if involved in a shooting. (lots of paperwork to do)
The problem is some officers haver the mentality of "let police do their job" and "Only police should have guns" while ignoring that a citzien has the same right of self defense as the officer himself.
IE: Burglar in the house - some are told to hide in a closet and call 911 and wait for police instead of initiating home defense.
More to the point - A piece of paper (protective order) does not stop a person from committing a crime, does not ensure police will uphold or even enforce a restraining order.
One particular case in Castle Rock, Colorado :
the failure of the police to respond to a woman's pleas for help after her estranged husband violated a protective order by kidnapping their three young daughters, whom he eventually killed.
For hours on the night of June 22, 1999, Jessica Gonzales tried to get the Castle Rock police to find and arrest her estranged husband, Simon Gonzales, who was under a court order to stay 100 yards away from the house. He had taken the children, ages 7, 9 and 10, as they played outside, and he later called his wife to tell her that he had the girls at an amusement park in Denver.
Ms. Gonzales conveyed the information to the police, but they failed to act.
Hours later Mr. Gonzales arrived at the police station firing a gun, with the bodies of the girls in the back of his truck.
The police did then decide to act and killed him at the scene.
-I'm not Anti-Police at all...I am suggesting it is unwise to rely on them for any form of personal protection or in the case I mentioned including the protection of your children from being kidnapped.
(As a side note - some court orders require ANOTHER court order to enable police to now be able to enforce the previous court order before they actually enforce the original court order...called an order to enforce.
The lady that lost her kids failed to have an order to enforce the first protective restraining order. Very sad.
Hence - Why carry a gun?

We had a shining example of that here in Sweden last year... a 70 year old man had over 1000 weapons in his house.. including a "small automatic cannon" of some sort, at one point in time he had a license for the weapons (not sure about the cannon) but it was expired and he had been unable to get rid of them for some reason.
You could arm a dozen MC gangs with what he had and he did not store them properly either, any burglar would have had access to the vast majority of them... it was just a matter of sorting through the debris in his house.
went a bit off topic there, keep it up liberty, you are doing the right thing to protect yourself from creeps like that.
regardless of how anal local laws might be (here in sweden we may not use deadly force to protect our property/home, only life if absolutely necessary) it is always better to be safe and healthy.

Because I also was being followed around by a dark red van with dark tinted windows. One day I was waiting for my son to get off the school bus when this van pulled up next to me and asked if I would take a look at some thing in the back seat of his vehicle after I refused, he than got out and I started yelling for help. He got back in and drove off. I than called the cops and they came and I told them what happend. The officer told me that if I see the man in the dark red van again, to call the cops and get a pic of the person. I managed to do so cuz I was trying out my new go pro camera. I showed it to the cops and they traced the license plate and spoke to him and told him to stop or he will be arrested. So he did. 2 years later he started again. So now if the cops won't do anything, I'll just carry t o defend me and my two kids.

As described this contact is occurring on a public street and the remarks would not reasonabley be offensive or humiliating to the sensibilities of the average adult. This is just one of those things in life we have to deal with in life the way the liberal progressives have made it for us

If you ever move out of Massachusetts do not come to New Jersey. We have gun laws stricter than California and yet we have numerous cities plagued with gun violence. If you buy a gun around here, you are immediately committing a crime because the clip can carry too many bullets and so you have to turn it into the police and buy a clip that carries less. To go to the firing range, you must place any fire arms in your trunk in an safety case not loaded. Stop for gas on the way? You go to jail. Carry permits also do not apply here at all. It's 10 years minimum for being caught coming here from another state with a legal carry permit from other state.

The police advising you to engage and delay a potential threat strikes me as its own special form of insanity. I just saw your first video for the first time and this video was on the same page, so I had to continue my comment here basically. Arizona is one of the few states that recognizes both open and concealed carry, and in Arizona you dont even need a permit to carry concealed. It used to be you had to take the course, then get approved by the state (DPS) to carry, but in 2011 they changed the law and made it easier for ANYONE to carry concealed as long as they are not a felon. Just giving you an option to a place you can consider to move too. There are 3 major colleges here, and with your line of work plenty of clients lol. Its also beautful here if you can live through the heat in the Summer prior to our Monsoon season :)

I posted on the "part 1" some advice. Also make it a good practice to pay close attention to your surroundings all the time. I make it a game to know everything around me. When I am out in public I identify who is around me at all times and remember their clothes, age, eye and hair color, tattoos. When in a check out line in a store I test myself on how many I can identify in full description. This always keeps me alert on Situational Awareness. If you pay attention, mostly everyone in a store are no different than cattle. They never pay attention to what is around them and those kind of people are always prime targets for terrorist and predators. Usually about every 10 seconds take in everything around you until it becomes instinctive. Where I was in combat, I have this Situational Awareness built in for survival.
