I love that it has gotten to the point that when Hickok walks around on gravel, you hear more brass than actual gravel.
Been that way for years. I always get a chuckle out of it.
Never seen you miss so much; ever. I’m thinking it’s the revolver, and I won’t be buying one…
Did you see the idiot who asked him if he cleans up the brass in the park since he shot so many of them or is there just gun garbage laying all about? I’m still trying to figure out how anyone could call that heavenly sound garbage 🤷🏻♂️
It's like Uncle Scrooge and his money bin.
Beat me to it.
"John slipped a blank in" 😂🤣😂
I’m in tears 😂😂
🤣🤣
These prices got me saving ammo and watching Hickok shoot his.
Actually most of the time he's shooting Federal's ammo. 😎
I'm beginning to suspect the ammo shortage and price inflation is a manufactured crisis with political motives.
@@WinterInTheForest For sure. Even I as a german suspect that for a while. Stay safe and keep your ammo. We need every good man.
Got 3 boxes Federal 22 40grain LRN on monday....walmart, right place, right time. The kid was stocking the shelf. Pre-Covid price too! Maybe ammo is starting to come back?
@@WinterInTheForest most shortages are after all
I’m dying😂”I’m too old for this kinda pressure. People watching me miss and all that”
Man that hits hard!! Lovely looking revolver, great shooting, Hickock45 and a good cup of coffee = a perfect day!
Take care and stay safe, all the best from Scotland
“I like the buddy system we got going here” Barry and his Colt Anaconda
I need a backyard like this
Every man should have one.
Yes, this is the American Dream. To be able to walk out to your front yard and plink with an endless supply of 44 mag.
Tennessee, Baby!
I LOVE my 6” Anaconda. I used to hunt black bear with it. Then I switched guns. But my Anaconda is like an old ww2 battleship. It sits in the safe in my “mothball reserve fleet,” waiting to be once again called into action.
A Drachinfel fan can be found anywhere it would seem.
What if guns have personalities, just like in the movie Toys? Your Anaconda is getting very lonely. I hope he has at least one other gun to keep him company.
@@Shozb0t hahaha, yeah he has a girlfriend to keep him company. ….a hot looking Python.
@@colt10mmsecurity68 hahaha nice
Just curious, what did you switch to?
One of my favorite guns
Great way to start off a Friday, with alittle bit of hickok45
It's so hard to hit at that distance, and he makes it look so easy! Effortless! Amazing!
Saving up to get an Anaconda. Birthday is mid-August😂
Congrats
@@JW--dc8ri An Anaconda would look great in your hands!
Hickok is a National Treasure.
In a world gone literally crazy, thank God I can still turn on Hickok45 for my moment of Zen.
I snagged a 2021 Anaconda a few weeks ago as my LGS was putting it in the display case. Such a sweet shooter! Great shooting as always. 🤙
Mine was in the case only 10 minutes. I've been waiting to get one of these since I saw they returned.
Idk if there was an animal behind that log but at 14:55 you see red spray after that miss. Looks like blood.
Could be paint, but yeah, blood sounds more likely
yooooooo
If that was an animal, it probably died instantly
@2 b yeah dude if that was real blood spray I don't think even a grizzly bear could survive that kind of carnage lmao
Dude lmao what are the odds of missing both targets only to hit like a Groundhog or something behind the targets? That’s hilarious.
Revolvers look so damn good.
You said it was warm but I’m thinkin’ it was too Colt!! 😂
The sun was in your eyes, The wind picked up, The humidity picked up, The leaves blew in the way, Global warming. Hickok doesn't miss for no reason.
Don't have my 4" Anaconda anymore so I got out my 6" nickel plated S&W 29-2 to keep me company while watching this video, it'll do, it'll do. Very nice SA trigger, a little S&W snobbery is not out of place.
My 6.5in 29-2 is watching this with me and I swear I heard it call the Anaconda a filthy peasant.🤣
Hey Look he brought out his pet snake 🤓
When he missed the last two with the one shot he must have hit a paint can lol he missed and it still sprayed red
Thought he yeeted a squirrel 😂
I save the magnums for cleaning out the lead from the specials. I replaced the grips that don't fit my little hand with some wood Altamont grips with no finger grooves. The gun is just as easy to manage. Very nice to shoot. Much better without the finger grooves for me.
I love the kick from a .44 magnum and from a .45 colt. You know you're shooting.
Only a true gun lover can go through boxes of 44 magnum and not complain that their hands are numb from vibration lol
I’d love to see a review of the S&W 627 Performance Center with 5 inch barrel.
19 years ago. Still the legend lives
Hickok aka the godfather of guns I enjoy watching and learning
I will always be a Big Fan of The Smith & Wesson Model 29 but I must say The Colt Anaconda is not bad at all. You can't go wrong with a Colt.
One of my favorite parts of the day when Hickok45 drops a new video he is so full of knowledge I just soak it in especially Sunday shoot around
Oh man, I do want one. Beautiful pistol.
God bless all here.
Love those Big Bore Revolvers!
Solid hit with that big old .44 Drove that little piggy all the way home.
With your track record for marksmanship, you don't have to make excuses! You can have an off day, and we all understand. Thanks for the demonstration.
Absolutely! Life is good. I spent 3hrs at the range today. Only shooting 22 for now, but I had a great time.
Look! Hickok never misses, it is the gun that misses!
from what i have observed, related to .44 Magnum. You shoot the Ruger Red Hawk the best. I know you love the S&W and you shoot this as a champ too. But the Ruger seems to be your sweet spot.
She might not be an heirloom, not yet anyway, but the new Snakes are lovely. Picked up a 2" King Cobra, a 2.5" and 3" Python, and the...newer? 2023 Anaconda in 6" I've found I have to aim minisculey lower vs my Smiths.
Beautiful gun Hickok! Wish I could shoot half as good as you!
gotta love the sound of a 44!
I'm a Glock guy, got into revolvers because of hickok45. Bought a low cost .357 magnum German made revolver in 2017, a Taurus 856 in 2018. In 2019 bought a Colt King Cobra 3", the cylinder would not release properly, spent six weeks at Colt. The gun is still not open properly. Purchased a Colt King Cobra target in 2020, it had a timing issue, sent it back to Colt six weeks later came back filthy and fixed to date. Traded in the 3" King Cobra for a Smith & Wesson 686 6, feels more secure never had a problem with the gun, gives me more confidence. This year I had a Colt Anaconda on order, met a guy with one at the range, shot twelve rounds through it, he told me he had to send it back to Colt, timing issue. Bought a 629 6, love the gun opens closes like a vault, I love the looks of a Colt, but will always carry a Smith.
Interesting and highly professional! God bless the South!
First shoot was so loud the gon sounds like 22 hitting the steel. Insane
With all the craziness in the world and my life , had my house robbed and all my gun’s stolen with the safe hopefully they can’t open it this is my favorite part of my day . Thank you Hickok for all you do it brings a smile too is all
Mr Hickok you’re the granddad I never had haha, Guns, Jokes, and Wise Words thank you for the great content Sir
The Iron Fist Superman
Hickok calls his shots like a pool player, 8 ball in the side pocket. Boom let’s go after the low balls.
U need to be shooting at dinosaurs with that gun, get your self some 🦖 cut outs . I love your channel mr. Hickok
Hickok with a beautiful revolver, what could be better?
Beyond awesome!😁
Hickok45 gaming
LMAO John was shaking the camera hahaha.
MY EXCUSE FOR MISSING ON A HOT DAY IS HEAT RISES WHICH CAUSE MY BULLETS GO HIGH! 😁
My personal favorite- the Coriolis effect from the rotation of the earth causes me to miss right, or left as the case may be.
At 59 ounces the weight helps mitigate the recoil impulse.
Great video Hickok45! This will be my next purchase! Love the Colt!
Wish Hickock did a 44 comparison with the redhawk and 29 with this.
I love you Hickok, " deliberately miss so I can shoot more" 👍👍
Boooooooooooooooooooooooooooom
I just saw the preview for Strain100 and saw Hickok 45 and Matt from demolition ranch, and thankfully they were not zombies!
Buttah Dawg
Da Dawg Wee Da Buttah
I suck u typed that whole thing and im later typing less edit jk as if being first matters :swag:
Hickok went out of his way today just to prove the point that you don’t need an expensive gun to be accurate😉
1:32 🛎
He shot once and hit it 3 times 💪
Alvin York would have picked the turkeys off rear to front so's they wouldn't know that they were being shot.
LOL best comment! and York wouldn’t have missed the first shot because he’d have remembered to wet the front sight.
@@jwilsonhandmadeknives2760 Hickok 45 isn't that far from Skinner Mountain where Mr York grew up.
That was by far one of your best videos to date ! Not just because of the sublime Colt Anaconda BUT because you managed to clear all those big steel targets, I've never ever seen you do that before. Top shooting btw, that gun is the text book definition of a hand cannon, lol.
Those 240 grain slugs certainly slams into those targets, what a beautiful sound and the Gong hits never sounded better !
you don't need any excuses your honesty is way better.
Yes , flat out intently the miss ones were ! My old proverb from 1946 as l stood up and said ; Dad those black and white cows , is that where the chocolate milk comes from ?
14:54 what did you hit back there that sprayed red?
🤣🤣😂😂
A protester
Sir,
I would appreciate if you could make a video with classic British revolver WEBLEY Mk.6 (.455 caliber).
A big fan from India
Was actually looking for a Webley Hickok video yesterday
Well overdue
I shot a Wesley .38 years ago and loved it.
Yes, iconic profile, long history, I've never seen it shot, top break opening IIRC, what about the ammo folks? Probably have to size .457 cast bollits down, maybe load 45LC cases with black powder? Pretty rare here in the US. Here we go, $1 a round plus change: www.bulkcheapammo.com/handgun-ammo/455-webley
Damn I’ve been watching u for ten years Jesus many more to come
Still trying to decide between the 6 inch or the 8 inch of one of these. Maybe by the time I decide, the prices will be back at MSRP.
Great trail gun for sure.
Liked and saved to my snake gun list before I even watched!Go Hickok45!
Im big fan of guns and Yours videos. Regards from Poland.
Hickok does not miss, there’s just other things that need to be smoked, like an ant about to attack a poor baby ant... he protects all
Hickok, when shooting those birds, remember what Alvin York taught us, shoot the last one first so they don’t spook on you.
The new Colt Anaconda is a fine revolver in double action and built to handle the Garrett Cartridges of Texas 330 grain Hammer Head hard cast gas check bullet as well as the Buffalo Bore 340 grain +P+ 44 magnum factory loads.
Love that revolver but it is expensive! May have to settle for a Ruger.
Good luck finding either one in your local gun store.
I don't miss with my Anaconda and I have a blast... I;m and my eyes are going, I've always been near sighted anyway. I have always had a hard time seeing game while hunting. I Love my Anaconda I have a S&W 629-5 a pre-lock Classic Full Lug 8 3/8" barrel. A big bad 44, My Colt Anaconda is a 6" barrel and I've always loved it. I have GP 100 and Redhawk 8 shot 357's I love revolvers,,, I love Guns, 1911 HK Sig Sauer Walther Glock Taurus Ruger CZ & Copies Tanfoglio IWI AK 47 & 74, AR15 LR308, lever actions Winchester Browning Savage Marlin looking to add Savage and Marlin Lever actions to my Guns.
I bought my dad a Henry 22 lever action just because he liked it. So we went out on the range at the shop and I asked my boss for a handful of blanks. I put 5 live rounds in last and I shot it first and it was close to dead on. I shot the first 5 and my dad shot it. He is really good with a rifle. Well he shot and looked at the target and said I didn't hit anything. So he did it again and the same results. After the 4 shot he looked at the table and he saw a blank and he started to laugh and called me a dirty bastard. It was fun messing with him.
I slipped some blanks in on a hunting buddy.
When he figured it out, the game wardens had to pull us apart.
Friday morning with H45! 🇺🇸Merica
The RAM ducked when you shot!! I seen it😂
At 14:54 you may have missed the Ram-alo but you hit a snake/rat/can-of-red-Krylon/something...it was like a Tarantino film!
Just had to have one after watching .
It's no fun getting old. As a young man I could hit a quail on the fly with a .22 ruger single six.
Now my hands and arms betray me.
@hickok45 Please review one of the new Manurhin MR73 revolvers, that is being imported by Beretta.
A friend has on on order!! and I will get to shoot it. The MR73 reputation is PHENOMENAL! .. can’t wait ( abt another month ) . So cool they’re being imported. 👍
@@OscarDad Do you know where they were able to order?
Damn! That 44 Magnum hits hard !!!
This shoutout goes out to the camera man's arms 🙌 👏 keep up the good work 💪
Yeah hickok's fair amount is anywhere between 2,000-4,000 rounds LMAO excessive is about 6,000-10,000 LoL...I wish I had the real estate you got to work with on your property, I'm always adding targets to my personal range, but I don't have near the distance you have I will one day though. Your range is sweet...i'm more and more envious each video I watch
is the colt comparative to the S&W for function ? never get tired of watching a .44 gun shoot video .
I think that's the loudest I've ever heard the gong ring.
8:47-8:53....blooper!"Ok,python,get that pig."
Excellent Shooting Sir! I'm new to shooting pistols and have a hard time hitting a 8" target at 7 yards!! Thanks for sharing your talents with us.
That's a heavy Pistol to hold up and control for long!
I never in Smith and Wesson Anaconda Hawk Times
I have an 300 years old Norwegian flintlock from the grate Northdern war 1700-1721 🇳🇴 vs 🇸🇪
Had to go back to see after Sunday shoot around. Light must been tricky?
Killing me Hick! I gotta go wide stance just to hit pass 20 yards!
Magnum 🔥
Just picked up a 6” anaconda today!! First thing I had to do was go watch Hickok shoot it!!
Not too shabby my friend.
