Pastor John is wrong on this one. He twisted scriptures to fit the narrative. Don't just swallow things men of God of our generation say. Get into the word for yourself. If you are a child of God, you also have the Holy Spirit to guide you into all truth.

We were not talking about other sins, if we were talking about Sins that's would have been different...but here Apostle was talking about sexual sins which has destroyed many preachers....and he was expressing how that many false preachers engage is such acts and also that if a survey is conducted of that aspect many preachers will fail...this he said not justifying himself but expressing how depraved many Christian's are...

Pastor Arome was trying to make a point. Pastor John also had a Point. It must be stated clearly that the both of them were not addressing the same issue. Arome was addressing the Notion of Generalizing all pastors to their response, John was addressing the Subtle Pride it was spoken with.

I think Pst John's anger is coming from the fact that himself and Apst Osayi has contrary claim about Tb Joshua. It's very controversial to hear Osayi say that Tb Joshua is not of God with scriptural proof and Pst John said that Tb Joshua is a man sent from God. I think that's one major issue that has put them on contrary pages. That did not go well with Pst John, because if he is affirming Tb Joshua's spiritual personality and another respectful man of God is saying the opposite then that calls for some check. That's why he was quick to say that Apst Osayi will have a great fall instead of praying for him with the love of God as a fellow labourer in the vineyard of Christ Jesus

I have been an ardent follower of pastor John to the extent of even visiting his church in Cape Town. However, his position on certain issues and quest for financial gains ( my opinion) has made me to start having a rethink about him. He is currently in Abuja for a program and my kids are surprised that I'm not attending considering that we live in Abuja.

They put in all efforts possible to stay in the word and run away from hidden sin, as they continue to seek Purity and Holiness. Their words in this area, is a testimony work by Jesus Christ of Nazareth Himself and it should not be hidden that we are the same. The journey of a believer is interesting. We overcame by the blood of Jesus Christ of Nazareth Himself and we continued to resist this specific temptations. We keep running away from sin. Such efforts of grace; actions of grace; coupled with the word of God; the power that workerth in us; should be encouraged so the world can see and be saved that Jesus Christ of Nazareth Himself can bringforth this type of testimonies to His own glory. It is also good for the young people to learn and know that this type of strict disciplined life; is possible in Christ Jesus of Nazareth

You just reason from the back. You are wrong. If you follow John teaching. He always emphasize on sexual purity and he talks how he learnt to maintain such. But no reason to boast. That is what he is against. Boasting is an hallmark of pharisees. Jesus warned against boasting. Paul warned against it...even said lest ye fall. Another apostle said none is without sin. Good to be clean. But unnecessary telling ladies to go on air. The day they want to target him and go on air. People will believe the wrong accusation.
Even any true minister of God who at any time had fallen into any type of sin..if genuinely repent and forsake his sin, forgiven of God is as clean in God's sight and record as whatever claim to purity or righteousness any preacher think he has. I believe your comments and explanations are making things worse for both parties. No one is perfect and everyone speaks according to their revelation, to say a man of God speaks out of flesh is not wise because you are not the Spirit of God to judge that. Be patient to catch the spirit of the meetings and teachings and avoid unnecessary debates.
These things, if not properly checked, can lead to many confused rather than edified. As long as you get what they are trying to say, as believers, we should bring understanding to whatever seems controversial amongst men of God and not be the judges on the sideline. As the scripture says, who shall know what is in the heart of man except for God. Let us not play God.
