you can get 1 stack per seccond in champion combat. that means 38k stacks are first impossible and seccond his best ability is his Q wich increase max hp dmg by 0.038% for every stardust stack. then his R only creates a shockwave if you collect 75stacks and THEN use the R otherwise no shockwave will occur

@@apuapu4545 Kayle has the power of half an Aspect. While the aspects did trick Asol, it took all of them to do it. I think lore-wise, the 1v1 is heavily in Asol's favour. Pantheon is probably the more potent matchup among the Aspects. Across all champions though, it's tough to say who the top 3 are. Asol, Pantheon, Jax (with a real weapon)?

To be fair he is a Celestial dragon around 26.4 million kilometers long and is one of the strongest Champions in the lore. This power that he has in the game sort of fits him, besides no one is gonna get 38,000 stacks in a single game and if they some how do then they deserve to win 😂

He's not really any weaker then he's ever been, moreso like you saw a grizzly bear in the woods sleeping, and decided you'd tie it to a tree with metal chains. It's still a grizzly bear, just not going very for or doing much.

The strongest Champion in the Lore is Kindred my friend ;)
Kindred has been around since the beginning of time. Kindred is death and immortal. No one can escape Kindred and everyone must face Kindred once their time comes. Aurelion Sol is incredibly powerful, but he too can be killed and then encounters Kindred.
@@Sora-xm5xe The Kindred related cards in LoR disagree with that. I'm not entirely up on it, but from what I've seen, Kindred is just a single manifestation of death, possibly on a localised scale (maybe only on Runeterra, where their story lies?). With what I remember of it, the Mask Mother and Everfiend would be taken as more extreme, with the mask mother creating even Kindred, and the Everfiend being a "true" death when one is forgotten, where even Kindred and the Mask Mother will eventually be consumed by it.

A small correction: The damage on Asol's q does increase with stacks as well, but only the max health damage on the constalation procs

I wonder how many stacks one could get reasonably in say a long game going 50m... I'm betting close to 1000, so the execute threshold will get scary but not imbalanced most likely

There's a part of me that wishes this would be commonplace in a typical match. The spectacle of his abilities being so large would be amazing. What a comeback from a champion who has been overshadowed ever since his release.
EDIT: I'm getting a few comments saying that he wasn't overshadowed because he was actually very strong on release, and continued to be so until he got reworked. I'll amend by saying that wasn't what I was getting at. I'm not saying he was weak: quite the opposite. He was very strong. By the definition of the word overshadowed, I mean that he was overlooked and didn't get the attention he deserved, because not a lot of people wanted to play him.

Im still pissed about the rework. It completely removes his really unique gimmick in favor of just another cookie cutter control mage with a cool theme. I've been playing the shit outta asol since his release and I still defend his right to be unpopular but unique.

It would be a nice touch if the 3654 stacked ult had different sound delays of the explosion depending on where your POV is. Silence then just full on destruction

Technically the time it takes to orbit is really close to 365.25, since we have leap years every four years with basically no exceptions. If it was .4 we would have leap years every 3 years plus change. Also, the 100% execute isn’t really needed to win a game, even a 50% execute with as big an area as it has is significant enough. There are probably a lot of cosmic Easter eggs elsewhere though

Secondary Range of his Ultimate should definitely increase with stacks. It's rarely used and dosent seem to deal an overwhelming amount of damage. It would be incredible to just drop that empowered ult and watch the wave mow over and damage everyone on the map...

One thing I love about this is that his Ultimate truly feels, well, ultimate.
Like a grand ability with a huge effect.
That's when I think Ults are most fun. When they're this grand, amazing thing, with great visuals. And I wish they went back and changed up a bunch of ults (if not mechanically, at least visually) to make them genuinely feel ultimate.

Honestly I dont care if they have to nerf him in order to make this possible, but those HUGE abilities are so fking cool and I would love for it to be possible realistic every match. Maybe scale him down a bit but let him stack faster to get those cool huge abilities. That shit would be epic

I tried do the same, while taking dragon with about 6000 stack some bug happened and entire ground of the Rift disappeared lol. It's literally game-breaking.
I really like the added touch at the end because no matter how fed you are your team will still throw and lose you LP

@@xentharas5629 Veigar is terrifying if you let him get that far, but he functionally remains identical.
His counter mechanics don't change, just the pressure he outputs by deleting people does.
Aurelion gains range, percent health q damage, near global W reach AND easy execution on a massive ability.
One of em definitely hits harder.
I have to wonder. If the execution threshhold at 3000~ stacks is 100% and the true damage shown is only 999. Is it possible to beat the execute. (I was also wondering this with Urgot ult)

kinda.... but the question is more: how long can you beat it? The e actively check on each tick if someone in the singularity is both alive and under the threshold. If so, it deals 999, which should kill the target. If it doesnt though, it will just send another 999 true damage every tick until the target has been fried. The only true way one could survive is if the percent threshold for the target is under 999(they are tanky) and they healed back beyond the threshold before the second tick. So maybe, but not likely.
I haven't tested for ASol, but normally the 999 for an execute is not the actual damage but just a visual.
It shows 999 but it actually sets your HP to 0 if you are able to get hit or damaged (this excludes any godmodes like Gwen's godmode and Kayle's R) or your HP is able to get set to 0 (this excludes Tryndamere/Kindred ult)
its just visual, collector does 9999 damage and jhin with collector deals 4444 but its just visual, the damage is basically infinite

I occasionally do this thought experiment of "who is the strongest true infinite scaler in league" where I think through what the end result of an infinite scale would look like on each champion. My top 3 were karthus with gathering storm with the bronze, main problem being spell shield, Senna with her infinite range and damage at #2, weakness being infinite health, armor, or lack of vision, and kindred at number one since she can deal with infinite health and armor. Aurelion sol is now the #1 in this thought experiment cause he has the global range and damage they all have, but can bypass spellshields with the shorter cooldown than the spell shield, and DOT bypass, and doesn't need vision AND it will hit everything on the map at once. The ultimate infinite scaler has been created
Special mention to Shyvana who can infinite scale the most stats. HP, AD (titanic), AP(demonic), MR, and Armor. there's an argument for her in 3rd, now 4th instead of karthus

actually it is balanced. it's not like you'll see 3840 stack on asol let alone that ridiculous 38000+ k.
9999 stacks Nasus on a 0.5s Q is still incredibly balanced tho, what have you been doing the last 10 years

Finally. Lore accurate Aurelion Sol. If I die to this it will be with a smile on my face.
So, basically, it's Sona's range during season five with Frost Queen's Claim's slow but Sol has to be stacking constantly in order to get it rather than Sona having the half-the-map-from-her-location slow item within ten minutes.
For those who don't understand why that range is significant, if Sona slowed you with Frost Queen's Claim, she'd be able to see where you were and if Sona saw where you were while you were slowed, you were dead from her catching up to you and bursting you instantly.
Yes, you heard right. "Instant" kill radius from half the map. From her location. With a single button press. You'd even have time to dread it coming.
Better get used to dying and measure up to your predecessors

if your team is dying to a Ap Sona then you must be REALLY behind as it just as easily for you to one shot her then she can to you unless you dont have any ward on the map
