- Stephen King and George A Romero collaborated to bring us the wonderful world of Creepshow back in 1982. Featuring a wonderfully eclectic group of actors taking part in different stories, the film ended up being a great time at the movies. So it's no surprise that we received a sequel. But why did it take five years? And why were Romero and King not as heavily involved? We cover all of this and more as we dive into 1987's Creepshow 2.

I absolutely love Creep Show 2. It’s one of those movies I can watch over and over. It’s campy and nostalgic.
I actually enjoyed Creepshow 2, even more than the first.
The raft had a huge affect on me as a kid. Just seeing it now gives me nostalgia for days gone by.
"Well, kiddies, that was quite a price for young Sam Whitemoon to pay... toupée, eh?"

THE RAFT is still my favorite segment from both films
Honestly Creepshow 2 was amazing. It was easily in my top 5 horror movies growing up in the 1980’s. My bros and I still quote it. “Thanks for the ride lady, thanks for the ride!”
The original "Creepshow " is my all time favorite horror film. The sequel is a very good follow up, a solid 8/10.
The raft has stuck with me for years. My friend and I talked about that movie when we were out on the lake a few weeks ago. Then I had to show it to my step daughter since she had never watched it.
I like Creepshow 2 more than the original.
Creepshow 2 holds a special place in my heart as it was one of my first horror rentals from the video store. I miss those magic times

There's just something about Creepshow 2. I love it.
The hitchhiker traumatized me so much when I was a kid. Same with the face-melting death of the girl on the Raft. My 8 year old mind couldn't handle it.
Old Chief Woodenhead is always my favorite story from Creepshow 2, I love that you have a Woodenhead comes to live to vengeance his owners death and going after sam & scumbags friends is a very Badass moments from Creepshow.
It fits in perfectly for the times. 80s horror was, still is the best
I had nightmares of that oil pool for years. I must have seen a bit of the movie at a very, very young age and I didn't quite know why, but then I found this movie in my late teens and instantly recognized the damned thing!
Used to love this when I was little. My dad would freak me out chasing me around saying “thanks for the ride lady” lol 🥰
The thanks for the ride lady segment freaked me out for years, whenever I would be driving at night by myself, I would always think about it and get freaked out
I love Creepshow 2! 🖤 I know most people usually skip over it in favor of the first anthology and I get it but I love them both equally. The stories, including the wraparound are effective and creepy, especially the second and third. But the first is a favorite as well, I love seeing George Kennedy and a young Holt McCallany.
