Even though it was promoted as just another American high school drama (but with an indian American protagonist) the show does have it's layers and complexities along with good humour. But I could not stand Devi as a main character.Hopefully she will become better in S2. But the whole love triangle situation now looks underwhelming.

But then for season 2 we got Paxton’s episode and it focused more on him and we got a kiss from Paxton and Devi at the end. If there is a season 3 (which there should be cuz the show feels unfinished) it should have the final decision of which boy is better.

I am with team Ben forever. Though, he was very rich but still was not at all ashamed because of her. On the other hand, Paxton was ashamed of accepting publically that he loved Devi. Ben was similar to Devi. He had emotions inside him. The way he cared for her like, keeping her in his house, taking her to malibu and he also went to the ladies' washroom to wash off her tears while she was crying because of the disrespect shown to her by Paxton. He later choose to be with Aneesa as he thought that Devi would always be with Paxton. This could be seen In the last scene of season 2 when he was talking to himself and saying that, Devi always chooses Paxton and Eleanor replied that it was not actually the truth. Besides, Ben also wanted to dance with Devi when Aneesa pulled him to dance with her. The story of Ben and Devi seemed to be the best enemies to lovers story to me. There was also a difference between how Ben and Paxton kissed her. Ben had emotions inside and feelings inside him. But, for Paxton, I looked like a timepass to me. Also, Devi's father came in her dreams and told that, Paxton was not actually the right guy. Paxton never deserved her. I don't hate Paxton because of his improvement shown by him in season 2 but still I feel like Ben was better. Both of them loved Devi but in different manners. Ben's love was more honest towards Devi and he was caring. He could not see her cry even when he came to know that he had been cheated. So, I am with team Ben forever. Excitedly waiting for season 3!!! I hope Ben and Devi will be together in this season.

In season two, there was a character development of Paxton but he messed things up and hurted Devi in the end. Even though he came at last, Ben was the one who supported her when Paxton hurted her. Ben also hurted her, but that time Devi deserved it, but still he helped her in the camp. Everything got fine between Devi and Paxton but still he was embarrassed of her and hurted her……. So I will go with Ben…. That’s just my opinion….. Also Ben forgived her (kinda) when she wholeheartedly said sorry to Aneesa
