Jah Rastafari, I remember when i use to go dance in the 70's and this tune was the anthem. Then rastafarian culture was predominant. Jah rastafari!!!!!
That wacka wacka wah wah was my dad's guitars and he was the first to out that skid to reggae music for the 60s. Put respect on his name. His name is Sweeney Exodus Williams a.k.a The Man X.
@@dieselqueen You do not know what I am also quoting from and if you did you would know whose name to put respect on as well. Watch Prince Teebah and the Sons of thunder nyabinghi drum on beach to hear the words I quoted from about the plug in go boom and reggae for the dolla not for the heart
Thanks for upload...Good to see this repressed in what sounds like good quality audio....the 'Rastafari ' + the 'Dub' lp were re-released on various labels of often dubious legality & underwhelming sound. good to see Tommy Cowan getting some credit (if he'd just done Sons of Negus & Israel Vibration that would have been plenty....)
Anybody know ..was this really as big a hit in JA at time of release as has been reported by some...As it certainly isn't 'polished & tidied up for radio /Jukebox play' & it was made before Marleys 'Natty Dread' /Big Youth / Johnny Clarke etc 'roots style' really broke through big
I heard this tune many years ago as a teenager.
Whenever I hear ìt , it sends me on a higher heights of spiritually...timeless tune.❤
Essas músicas dos anos 70 e 80 são as melhores

Oi Enjay.Lighten up. Say something positive. Maybe they just hit the thumbs down button by accident.
Why does the title say 1975 (which sounds about right), but the label says 2020?
