250rr (double r) is made for racing. 500r (single r) is made for urban or touring. 500r is a good bike for economic fuel (compared to others 400-600cc) with smooth and efficient engine. good for cruising, long distances. also not so aggressive seating position. 250rr is a great performance bike. with aggressive seating position. most powerful 2 cylinder in 250cc. both has different aims.
the 250RR is a beast, specially with the QS-SP package, cramming 41HP into a 250 is insane, that thing can run amongst 400-500cc bikes all day! + you also get insane fuel economy for daily driving 😅

250 is RR and 500 is R.. R (single r) in Honda means sports touring category which is for long distance and cruising with upright position and limited till decent rpms like 10-11 k and RR (double R) means proper sports bike with many features in it and racing posture with high revving engine
