How to Cook Kuku Paka (Coconut Curry) l Quick & Easy Kenyan Style Recipe

    Thick Coconut 🥥 Chicken curry
    Ingredients :
    1 kg of chicken cut into 8 to 10 pieces
    1 tbsp of vegetable oil
    2-3 pieces of whole green
    1 and 1/2 tsp of garlic and ginger paste
    2 large sized tomatoes 🍅 made into purée
    1 tsp of salt 🧂 or to taste
    1/2 to 1 tsp of Kashmiri red chilli powder
    1/4 tsp of turmeric powder.
    3 medium size potatoes each cut into 4 pieces .
    150 ml of coconut cream ( kara brand is the best)
    2 cups of hot water .
    Method:
    Heat oil , add onions and cook till translucent and then add whole green chilies.
    Next add garlic and ginger paste and cook for a minute.
    Next add puree tomato , salt, chilli powder aturmericric powder.
    Cook for few minutes and then add the chicken . Keep stirring in between .
    Once the chicken is half cook , add water and potatoes 🥔. Once potatoes are half cooked then add the coconut cream and cook literally for 7 to 10 minutes depending on the softness of potatoes 🥔.
    Cook again for about 7 minutes.
    Lemon juice is optional.
    Your delicious Kuku Paka is ready.
    Serve with Rice ,Bread, or Chapati
