I still need to go over a lot of things when it comes to vertical and horizontal scaling. What are the advantages and disadvantages, when to use what, what factors to keep in mind? However, for the scope of this video, I limited myself a lot. This is just an introduction as to why you even need to learn System Design and what is its importance.
Let me know all your thoughts in the comments.

    Hello Nikhil,
I'm very excited to learn system design from you because of the way you teach. If you can create small applications to demonstrate the system design concepts then this system design series can actually teach something more than what just other CZcamsrs are doing. Also, Thanks for your DSA videos.

Your teaching methods are exceptional. I have been following your channel for a considerable period and have found your approach to problem-solving and explanation of different solutions to be very easy to follow and highly effective.
While there are numerous online resources available for foundational system design concepts, I believe a deeper exploration of specific topics would be invaluable. It would be beneficial to delve into various scenarios, advantages, disadvantages, use cases when to what, trade-offs, and how we use each concept in real-world applications beyond whiteboard or slide presentations. A comprehensive understanding of fewer concepts would be preferable to superficial coverage of a larger number. I understand this may require more time, but it would undoubtedly lead to a clearer and more thorough learning experience.
Hope to hear response from you if we can expect the same.
A huge thanks to you for your efforts to make us better engineers.

My goal is to great byte sized videos, that are easily digestable. Covering everything will take some time, and I must tell you..that is is a journey.
Also, I never believe in crash courses...they just end up wasting so much time. I would rather go slow and detailed...instead of shortcuts.
How can you help? Give me feedback on my videos when I publish them, about the things I might have missed, or you want a more elaborate explanation on. Will always be happy to serve.

It is very hard to churn out quality videos. I make sure that my videos are all 4K...clean and neat. Each video takes me approximately 10 hours from the thought process, to thinking of examples, sketches, writing a script, recording, editing, thumbnails and finally publishing.

      That’s amazing..and congrats!! 😄
My goal is to atleast cover all the basics and some design problems. If all goes well and I do get a good feedback on the videos, then probably I can cover complex problems as well.
But I always think that complex problems will end up taking almost 35-40 mins to explain…that loses the attention span..and maybe not everyone understands it.
Let’s see how it goes..wish me luck 🤞🤷🏻‍♂️

one thing to realize is that there can never be ONE definite solution...and things will keep on evolving. would you implement a design in the same way it was done 5 years ago? NO!!
also everyone likes a fresh take on things...you cannot have every content that is absolutely new.
However, you can let me know what new things would you like to learn about and I can surely cover them when possible :)

i'm a fresher, it took me more days than i expect to know how the concepts like OOPs work in the programming, my focus is to get place in a product base companies, where the knowledge i need is completely different , how the flow of a application work what are the tools we need to learn and the technologies also varies on the role we assign, i came up with a topic LLD which we run a application only using console, there i came to know there are some pattern followed like MVC, MVVC ect even they are new topics for me , will this Playlist is ok for me, or is there any pre requirements to learn these stuff

    • @nikoo28
      @nikoo28  Před měsícem

This series is more for concepts like caching, partitioning, what are the trade offs, when to use where. Overview of similar systems etc.
