I liked the part where they dimension shiftered one game and then skill drained the next, that was very fun to watch! Sad we didn't get to see a dimensional barrier though, the Dino player was able to use monsters from their extra deck which was NOT cool even if all of their effects were negated. Can we talk about how ironic the name "skill drain" is for a card that literally drains any skill out of the games it's played in? Someone at Konami knew what they were doing.
Droplet can still target monsters has effect that can be activated, skill drain negates activated card effect, you can still activate cards effects that has been negated you just can’t use its effect.

Recently, TCG released the banlist. For some reason, Skill drain at 3 while in OCG, Skill drain is at 1 likewise, Rivalry of Warlord. Perhaps, TCG checks the situation in OCG’s situation. Combo decks rampant. Also, you can play back row removal thru side decking. So technically, Skill drain should not a problem at all. The problem is your deck cannot use back row removal because it create bricks. Also, trap decks are dead going second, except maxx C and shifter.
There was a miss play by Alex he could have used lost world to protect his token from destruction from karma cannon there for destroying a petit in his deck to special a pank to out the skull drain
