Hello friends! Today I show you how to fix and replace a broken lug stud on the Subaru Crosstrek. It takes a little bit of effort, but its not too challenging!

When i took off my brake calipers and then tried to put it back on, it no longer fit... I had to push all sides and wiggle as hard as i could... Wasnt ideal... Any tips on how to keep that brake pad distant the same when it comes off and/or how to open up the brake pads enough to fit it on the disk easily?

When changing pads, I use a C clamp and the old pad to open the caliper. I have seen a guy use a small wood block and a pair of channel locks. Any kind of wedge or a stack washers would probably work. Thanks so much for watching and commenting.

Why do you have a Wisconsin license plate that's 50 years old?

Good Catch Vicki. I have a stash of old plates in case I ever have to disappear. My daughter was concerned about having her plate front and center on CZcams. However, if you look at the other Subaru videos, her plate is probably less prominently featured. Thanks for watching.
