Asking a Dachshund 'Are you hungry' is like asking the world 'will you spin a bit'. The world may quit spinning some year, just not the foreseeable year, and Dachshunds are always, always hungry.
I love returning home to be greeted by my 3 dogs, 2 of which are dachshunds. It's nice to be loved! ❤️🐾❤️🐾❤️🐾❤️🐾❤️

When I was young, I was anemic (iron deficient) and I was to eat liver 3 times a week. Yuck! But, after a few months, I was fine. (I have never touched liver again, though.😜)

Hi Eveline! I am in the dentist office now with a cracked tooth from the root canal but am smiling and less nervous because of the video! 🥹I liked the different montages here! Coco is getting sassy jumping up on your and Fred’s lap! Good for her! Loulou did not let that lettuce leaf go to waste! She’s very consistent about finishing her treats! Now it looks like the marshmallow ducks are wising up to the fact that free gourmet meals abound at your house! They are learning from their canine sisters! Your Mc Donald’s food looks better than ours! Next time, can you film inside the restaurant so we can see what the menu choices are? Do they serve Dutch beer! In Europe things are different😁

I can relate to your health challenges because I used to have very severe cravings for sugar, carbs and unhealthy fats. Sugar was like alcohol for me and would make me even more tired. I still struggle with fatigue but I find I do better not eating processed foods, eliminating sugar, reduce carbs and fried foods. I am glad that you are aware of your cravings and are working with your doctor to fix the problem. Good luck.

Vitamin C helps massively with iron absorption and tea/coffee hinder it. I used to take iron pills every day and they never seemed to help. When i stopped drinking tea at the same time as I took the pill, and started eating fruit or veg with lots of vitamin C with it my levels came up to normal pretty quickly. Never did stop my cravings for fat and sugar though, unfortunately!

Hi, I notice that you have an iron deficiency problem as I sturggle with it myself. One great tip to help with the iron deficiency is to eat food that is rich in iron such as red meat and dark leafy vegetables. Take care 💕💐🌷
Hi, thank you for the tips. I try to eat as much iron as possible which is in food, but actually it makes no difference. I lose a lot of iron because of my heavy periods. The only thing that helps a bit is an iron infusion. xx 💛

Believe it or not, but in summer Sweden has more hours of sun than the Netherlands. It can be rainy here in summer.

Precious and adorable. Unfortunately, my neighbor has a pit bull who I've seen actually trying to eat a piece of firewood. Too bad he's not as well behaved and under control as Lou Lou and Coco. That hound is so ugly and mean, I get scared when I see him anywhere near my neighbor's children. Just this morning he was barking at some balloons left over from somebody's baby shower that drifted into the yard.- and if I'm not mistaken, I think he tried to eat them. Unfortunately, my neighbors have him on a high protein KETO diet to supplement his habit of eating wood - along with some special probiotics they buy at PetSmart. Thank God for fences.

How can you eat all those goodies and keep a slim figure like you have? LouLou & CoCo mow the grass and the ducks do the edging of the lawn. LOL I think you vacuums the floor as much as my Wife does. LOL I think she has a cleaning addiction. Ha. Our Doxie would have snatched that sandwich off your plate when he was younger, he has calmed down in his 14 years, now he will sit there and whine while looking at you, to guilt trip you into giving hime some. We will only give him sweet potato fries as reg. FF don't sit well. Asking a Doxie if they are hungry is too funny, they will eat even when stuffed full.
