Awesome playing! Your tone is amazing. I like the lines and licks of the guitar player. Are you using a Otto Link STM?

Dan Hitchcock, no problem! I’m currently in high school and I play on a 7* Otto Link HR Tone Edge. I’ve been wanting to move onto a new mouthpiece lately. I’ve played on a few metal Berg Larsons, but they are too bright and raspy in my opinion. I’ve been looking for a mp that’s a little darker, but brighter than my Tone Edge.

Andrew Evans: very nice, I also play a 7*. A metal link could be just what you are looking for, but each link does have its own personality... best to try before you buy if possible!

Dan Hitchcock, Ill see if I can find one locally. I’m sure my nearest music store has one. I love personally the 7* opening. I started playing on a 7 tip opening, but moved down to a 5 tip opening (more classical mouthpiece) and then went straight back to my 7*. I feel when paired with a more solid reed my tone is more solid and clearer than with a soft Reed. I went from using 2.5 Vandoren Java Green reeds to 3.5 Alexander Superial reeds (by far my favorite cane reed), and noticed a big difference. I recently started playing on a 2 3/4 Legere Reed and I’m loving it (My dad is also a sax player so we swap reeds sometimes, but he has a different preference than me, so I ended up with the Legere he didn’t like).
