I have been trying to curb my watch spending but looking at that Trainmaster gives me an itch. I have 3 Bulova 262s including the smaller Lunar Pilot. They just keep aiming for the fence recently.
Great collection! I too have the same Seiko Presage Mojito. The dial is just stunning. I also have a Speedmaster Coaxial Chrono on rubber strap, and yes, its another stunner!

I researched extensively to put this collection together so I thought it would be kind to share. 😙 Yes those are thick watches but I figure as I get thicker I will grow into them ha ha. I am really digging your Montblanc. Don't wear it often? I can return the favor and give it a good home. 😁

Nice collection. When you purchased your grand seiko did they happen to have the "winter" available also? If they did what drew you to the spring instead?
Thanks much! I opted for the spring due mostly to the pink hue it had. Don't get me wrong, the winter is gorgeous also but this one really has an amazing dial.

That’s a lot of work for a year! Good for you man! Your enthusiasm for horology and passion for watch collecting is clearly evident. I feel this collection is as balanced as it is large. I love the range of categories that it covers.
I started collecting a few years ago. As a result, I’ve started to watch a ton of watch CZcams videos. Yours is fine but the problem now is that there are too many guys making watch videos. Unless your doing something high end with great editing your basically wasting your time. In 2024 there are so many highly produced channels, (Hodinkee, Teddy B, ETC) that it’s become pointless. Not to mention all the watches are the same. Grand Seiko, Christopher Ward, a micro brand with a tourbillion, and any other hipster, gotta own this because someone else does watch. God it’s getting old. Oh, and the “SOTC” headline vids,”I love the Petina”, what James Bond watch you like, how many Seiko 5’s you have,?, calling watches “pieces, “wrist watch check” Guys we no longer care. Let’s all think of something original, like figuring out a way to band together and get the prices of these watches down.
you shouldn’t talk bad about invicta wearers. a watch is a too personal thing to give advice like this. a specially with some phoibus ?! and zeppelin in the collection. 😏 remember there are people laughing about Your watches…
What's funny is that it 's MY PERSONAL opinion regarding Citizens and Invicta's (which i'm entitled to by the way) and not a direct slam for wearing them. I do however mention certain people are ignorant to other brands when they are force-fed only these brands in smaller towns. Advice? far from it. Wear what you like and also think what you like just as I did regarding these two I mentioned and have the prowess to recognize humor where it is warranted. Phoibos and Zeppelin are at least obscure enough microbrands that they won't be the focus of smaller towns to mass produce like Citizen, Seiko or Invicta for a quick buck. Have some vision here and also have a good laugh just like I DID making this video.

This is easily the most pretentious (and annoying) SoTC video that I have ever seen... and I watch 'em all! Promises not to show a box full of one brand (Seiko). Proceeds to show a box full of Hamiltons. Honestly though, a box full of Seikos (which apparently only "casual" collectors buy... Good Lord, the snobbery!) would have been a lot more fun than that one overly blingy GS. And WTF is wrong with Citizen?? It's easily as good as (no, better than!!!) Hamilton, and many miles ahead of Phoibos!!!!! Love the LLD & Speedmaster though. And the Rado. Only desirable ones here. Ok, maybe throw in the Rolex, even though I'm not a Rolex person either. Final conclusion: This guy has clearly been drinking the "SWISS MADE" Kool Aid!
Funny, you think i'm sooooo picky when I collect everything from Aliexpress to Microbrands to Fallout. Maybe take a look at the other vids I post. At the end of the day it's all subjective anyway. I call it as it is and Seiko's are a dime a dozen. Sure I like some of them but am not infatuated. (Update: Sold all but 1 Hammy.) Thanks for your opinion and I promise there is more pretentiousness coming your way. ;)
