- Ryobi Handheld Electrostatic 18V One+ Sprayer overview and review. Is the Ryobi Handheld Disinfectant Sprayer any good? Does Ryobi Electrostatic Sprayer do it better or worse than Victory Electrostatic Sprayers or ESS or other electrostatic disinfection sprayers?

Is this the same as disinfection fogging? Is this a disinfection fogging service?

Disinfection fogging from a disinfection fogging service simply describes the method of application of the disinfectant being used. Different disinfectants, some non-toxic, can be applied with a disinfection fogging tool. We use a non-toxic disinfectant on the N-List when requested as a gas vapor, which is definitely disinfection fogging. We used this sort of non-toxic disinfectant in an optician's practice because the entire optical shop was filled with lenses and laser machines, so a no-touch, non-corrosive, non-toxic solution was required.

Do you do commercial disinfection, office disinfection, school disinfection, daycare disinfection, health care disinfection, assisted living disinfection, home disinfection, and gym disinfection? What about rv disinfection or other vehicle disinfection?

We do primarily commercial disinfection and school disinfection. We are equipped to offer our disinfection service at any size facility. We can do our assisted living disinfection or in-patient treatment facility disinfection service in the private rooms while residents are eating their meal; the room will be ready for occupancy 5-10 minutes after we have exited each room, so while they're eating we can treat their rooms, and when they have all gone to bed we can disinfect the common areas and kitchen and dining room.
Our daycare disinfection is ideal because it is fully non-toxic and kid-safe. It is also non-corrosive and plant-safe and pet-safe. Daycare disinfection service works 24/7 up to 90 days, saving your business time and money AND limiting your staff and children to toxic chemicals.
We also do office disinfection, heath care facility disinfection, home disinfection and gym disinfection.
Gym disinfection: it is very important to use a non-corrosive disinfectant. One of our Germ Shield Antimicrobials has been corrosion tested by Boeing and they were delighted with the results. 24/7 up to 90 days, though a busy gym would really benefit from monthly treatment since friction and metal-on-metal contact is the only enemy to our non-toxic antimicrobial disinfectant.

I wish there was a harness and backpack for this machine for big jobs. It's a bit heavy.
They do make a backpack sprayer, but the tips are too big. Ryobi does offer tips in 3-packs for replacement; if I had their backpack, I'd switch out one of the tips to the 40.
This handheld is not the tool for big jobs. It's great for small spaces and cars. All handhelds, in my opinion, are great for small spaces and cars, and maybe if you need to take one for demonstration purposes with a client. Otherwise, I use one of my other sprayers.

What battery and charger is for this
It's the smallest Ryobi battery for their universal platform. Same charger for all those batteries.
Can this be used for painting
If your paint is the same thickness of water perhaps. Maybe stain?
The pump is much smaller than on a paint sprayer. Check the recommended pressure on a paint sprayer and the tip size, then see if this matches. It's probably cheaper just to use a paint sprayer for spraying paint.
Does it spit if it's not level?
It spits when the hose picks up air. So, if the tank is running low, make sure to keep the sprayer level so the intake tube doesn't suck air.

I don't know that I'd choose this for a backyard sprayer.
Large backyards frequently use an ATV-mounted sprayer. Chicken farmers use an electrostatic spray rig on their tractor.
If I were wanting to move a lot of product I'd get Ryobi's backpack sprayer with a 1 gallon tank, or use one of our tri-tip electrostatic cart-mount machines with a 4 gallon tank.
This one is well suited for doing vehicles and classrooms and other smaller spaces.
The office in the video is probably 12x16 and would 15-30 seconds to do with this sprayer.
It's leaks and way too bulky
Failure. No power in spraying anything. Took it back. Don't waste your time it doesn't get any better. Less than 2 feet of weak spraying power.
This is not the power-blaster of electrostatic sprayers. This is a very affordable and available machine.
If you're wanting more power to really FEEL the application process, go with a tri-jet machine (electrostatic or ulv). Victory's backpack has a 120 micron tip that you feel and see more spray, but that moves a lot of product and wouldn't be appropriate in this application with papers and glass everywhere.
Electrostatic allows a very minimal amount of product to cover a larger amount of surface resulting in a very even, thorough coating without a mess.
