I saw an article on Twitter saying that IU is deaf and Tae is blind in one eye, both have been that way from birth. The cube is getting rid of people with "defects" and the camera is then imagining a world where they can be happy because they're "normal". Honestly heartbreaking 😭

Apparently the crowd in the wedding scene is actually mocking them, pointing their fingers, trying to destroy their happiness, criticizing them, and booing. But they are ignoring them. Bcs these two love is stronger than what others think. Love Wins All 😭

If this MV doesn’t win any video of the year type awards, I’ll riot. One of the best story telling music videos I’ve seen in K-pop. IU’s voice is heaven as usual!

Sooo for those who don't get it, those cubes represent... us. Well, the fan culture of being assholes online, or thinking that our faves shouldn't date, or just be human.. godammit. We let companies destroy idols, we fail to protect them, we want to know everything... don't forget that the media provides what we chose to consume, rip many couple, and rip many actual human beings.
Yeah that’s what I think too, it’s not just fan culture even random knets, people are so hard on them and judging like turning into soulness robotic cubes, but there are many ways to intepret this MV - like their disabilities and people expecting celebrities to be perfect through the lens. IU is such a genius.

IU's acting on Hotel de Luna was magnificent. Especially her flashbacks to the past when she lost everyone she loves. Not your typical kdrama. It had a Beetlejuice vibe to me haha
I’m not a big kdrama fan, but LOVED that one! The story was so unique.

Throughout the MV IU was the one dragging Taehyung around everywhere but in their last moments it was Taehyung who put himself forward and shielded IU😢Because he has one eye from which he can see. When she felt that it was the end, she covered it so that he could not see their end. He who said love is actions was right. 😭😭😭😭😭🥺

i read it somewhere that iu is audibly impaired from birth and v is blind in his one eye from birth as well and the cubes seems to extinguish marginalized people, and that the cam recorder shows them in the world where they are not discriminated against and are "normal"
