Heyyy. I haven’t even finished watching the video yet, but wanted to comment. I’m a retired Postal worker and actually, they absolutely do change the locks on every post office box when it’s rented out (great news right, lol). One of my job assignments was working in the Box section. Forgot to mention that the letter reader machine takes a photo of the mail that you are DUE to receive, but there’s no guarantee of when it is to be delivered.
I came here to mention what you said about Informed Delivery, that the scans may show in the email but you might not see it the same day. I’ve been using that notification for years now! Love it.
Yes! I get emails about incoming mail and packages too, and most of the time it’ll show me what’s coming in the following day/day(s). Since it is Saturday it’s probably showing you what will be arriving on Monday. Good to know they do change the locks on the PO Boxes though!
When I had a po box, the letter clearly stated people were NOT allowed to make copies of the keys.
On the scan the back of the ID problem, what I've done that works here (in Colorado) is to have the customer put the ID down on something instead of having them holding it. If nothing is around I have them put it on the ground and scan the back. It works so much better than when they hold it as the subtle movements of both the phone and the ID will screw up the scan. Try it out next time. Hope that helps!

The PO box keys cannot be copied by law. The key makers will not do it so rest easy.
If the mail you received is too large, the post office will hold it for you in the back.

I don't think you can make a copy of a government key. If they don't return the key the Post Office keeps their deposit and puts a new lock on the box.
It's your phone that won't scan. I had a cheaper Samsung a couple of months ago, and it would never scan. I got a slight upgrade of a Samsung phone and haven't had a problem since.
Same here. Once I got a newer phone I didn’t have the problem anymore either with the scanning

I am done with Doordash period. I used to enjoy dashing. But I have self deactivated my Doordash account because of the BS tier program. The ONLY way to reach ANY tier level is by accepting garbage offers and I refuse to burn my gas and beat the crap out of my car to feed non tipping scum. The alcohol program is the worst. Alcoholics are crappy tippers.
They do change the key so you don’t have to worry about that because I have asked, I have also found that sometimes I will get those emails too and it won’t be in my mailbox but a day or two later it shows up, the USPS is a joke sometimes lol
You are correct! The USPS specifically says that the mail that you see scanned in the email will arrive several days AFTER you receive the email. It is just a preview of what is to come. @themeatymama please don't overthink things.
Mama, my late fiancé was born in Cuba and he lived in south Florida until we met in our late 40s. He moved to NJ to be with me, and mosquitos absolutely ignored me and bit him, every time. I used to joke with him that the mosquitos liked Latin food😂 He thought it was really funny 😊

It is illegal to make a copy of mail box keys. If the item sent to you was too large for the box, they will have your package inside.

It’s informed delivery, I’m having this issue too right now, it’s saying I have mail but I don’t P.O. Box is empty. They say to wait that informed delivery isn’t accurate and sometimes it takes 5 days to actually arrive in the box. lol 😂 complete crap I know right?

They should tell you also for pick up at Lowes. I had to deliver an air conditioner and a grill one time. Had my daughter with me so was able to do it but if I didn’t have a hatch back or my daughter with me would never have been able to get it. They need to state when it’s a heavy or bulky item!!
In my market door dash has started putting weights on the orders. Last night I had one marked as 15lbs. It was helpful.
Use dryer sheets tuck one on ur dog use one to wipe ur skin then put it in ur pocket. I'm on the east coast of Florida. This works for me.
I'm pretty certain they change the lock on the P.O. Boxes. They are supposed to anyway. Maybe your box is just overflowing with goodies and letters of kindness and they put it somewhere else in the post office.😉

They always change locks on mailboxea and po boxes between residents or customers...yes they do change them. Hooe tbat makes you feel better..the item.was likely too large to fit in the box...or tbey were too lazy to put it in there...tbye did that to me before
Also I have a PO box as well and lost a key once. They said oh we change locks every time there's a new renter.
I've rented po boxes for years. I was told locks are changed after each patron, so I wouldn't worry
Also, when scanning Id, turn your flashlight on your phone on. That should help too.

I took an alcohol dash yesterday just to see if the scanner worked bcuz I hadn't taken one in a while.. it worked no problem.... check your phone it may need an update or maybe contact dd tech support .. I live in upper east Tennessee (in the summer) so there's lots of mountains and valleys gps and data is ify in areas here..

The same way you don't want to take alcohol trips anymore, I don't take DD grocery collections/dropoffs because the app won't let me mark 'Delivered'. I have to call Support, then they have to call the customer to confirm I've delivered, then they can close off the order. Takes an extra 10 mins each time AND I'M OVER IT! I've told them this has been happening to me since l started delivery driving, and I just get the generic response 'We're working on it.' 😏😾☹️
If the email about the PO Box having mail was from the USPS Informed Delivery you can log into your Informed Delivery account and click on the day it showed the mail and there is a box to check that says “I didn’t receive this piece of mail.” That alerts the post office to check to see if they put it in the wrong PO Box. I live in a large apartment community and we have our mail in one place with PO Box like mailboxes and I’ve had it happen where the mailman put the piece of mail I was expecting and saw in my email into the wrong box. I submitted on my USPS Informed Delivery that I didn’t het the piece of mail and my mailman did get notified and pulled it from the wrong box and put it in mine.
The USPS changed the lock each time a new customer opens a box. Your mail is most likely packages (gifts from subscribers). The postal employee will put a card in your box indicating that you have packages. Get ready for cart loads of gifts from your subs! You'll be filling up the trunk of your car with gifts, gift cards, & cards with cash inside! I have a small channel & I finally had to close my P.O. Box because I'm a minimalist & I just couldn't handle anymore "stuff"! I've received vacuum cleaners, microwaves, insta-pots, sets of knives, pots & pans, sheet sets, comforters, paintings, artwork, needlepoint in large frames, clothes, scarves, soap, deodorant, toothpaste, & on & on!!

I also have USPS Informed Delivery and I love it!. I receive notifications for mail pieces, packages, etc. that have been scanned at the post office and that will be delivered within the next few days. It is NOT what mail pieces, etc. that are sitting in the mailbox. Hope this puts your mind at ease!!!!!

If someone illegally had a copy of one of the mailbox keys it's a federal crime. I doubt any locksmith would make a copy of it for you.
Perhaps the item in question needed a signature or was too large for your box. I have had that issue with numerous packages back when I had a PO box.
I bet they aren’t allowed to copy the key. I bet all the hardware stores don’t have a key like for that reason. Probably done at an inside post office only. It’s possible the thing u recorded was too large to fit in the box and they are holding it behind desk

My friend has the same issue with her p.o. box. The mail in question usually shows up a couple days later.Sometimes she asks and the mail is in the back. She doesn't get it either.
❤ love watching your daily grind. I’m retired now but I have less money & you make me wanna get up & do something extra to life a bit easier. Re: mosquito netting. Not that effective if it’s lying against your skin…they can still bite through the tiny holes. Google it or TikTok search some natural concoction you can put in a little bottle & spray on yourself. Insects hate lemon juice, citrus smells, cloves & cinnamon ( my personal favorites). Being on a no spend diet. I’m like an extreme cheapskate (but not always) I just try to avoid wasting my money if I don’t have to…I find most problems & ideas I come up w/ somebody else probably already been thru it & if it can save me a few dollars I’ll try that first, b4 I buy another thing from Amazon I wished I’d never bought. Ps. Some people prefer their alcoholic drinks in cans rather than bottles or vice versa as some drinks taste differently for example, strongbow cider, in a can, tastes totally different than from in a bottle.
You should be a black cat for Halloween. Nothing too hot and nothing too much in your way for safety reasons. It's cool to look great for Halloween, but you also have to keep your hands free for safety reasons. I recommend nothing that restricts your bodies movements.

Hey… I love watching your videos… I don’t know what kind of phone you have but I did an alcohol order and I saw small at the bottom of the scan screen (front/back)… I click front and it let me scan the front of the license… I hope this helps

From what i understand, scanning the back of the ID is where police can tell if it is real or fake.
